Heartthrobs, sobs, all the surreal vibes. We love Kid Bloom here at THP, Honey Poppers. So, catching him out here in NYC was not only a treat, it made us feel like we were on a Highway.

But for starters, let’s get the intro down. If you’re all for loving the indie pop scene – we’re thinking of folks we’ve checked out (think Greyson Chance and Fletcher!) Kid Bloom is someone you’re going to love.
Kid Bloom is led by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lennon Kloser and burst onto the mainstream scene in 2020 with the hit EP Blood Sugar, followed by the 2022 debut album Highway back in June. Which, to us, Honey Poppers, has a raw energy that matches electric rock – with the 1970s/1980s timeless swagger.
Coming off of the release of Highway in June, Kid Bloom embarked on the eponymous album tour throughout the fall into late October, and we at THP were fortunate enough to catch them in Brooklyn.
And let us tell you, Honey Poppers, these are tracks we need to turn up, listen to, sing and obviously rock out to.
