In case you missed it, Beach Weather released a new song, ‘Homebody,’ last week, and we haven’t stopped listening to it since. We told you that Beach Weather is definitely one of the artists you need to watch in 2023. They’re rising up the alt charts, as they should. And their latest single, ‘Homebody,’ proves that. Following their previous singles, ‘Trouble With This Bed’ and ‘Unlovable’ In addition to releasing a new song, they also released a music video for it. We love the 70s aesthetic, and it matches the vibe of the song perfectly. You can watch it below.
Side note: we’re in love with the homebody slippers, and we hope it’s a future merch item because it’s a need.
This is the ultimate anthem for, well…homebodies. While we love songs about going out partying, this song provides a nice change of pace. Who else can relate to the lyrics, “Homebody, just a homebody, let me slide for awhile, it’s my own party” It’s a catchy song with a laid-back vibe that we’ll definitely be singing on our days or nights in.
Homebody is a song about being a homebody. That’s about it. Who wants to go out and see people you don’t really like when you could just have your own party for one,
