If you’re missing summer, may we recommend listening to Beach Weather‘s debut album, Pineapple Sunrise? From the first track, we’re transported into a world of feel-good beats, synths, and all-around good times.
With 11 tracks, including previously released ‘Unlovable,’ ‘Trouble With This Bed,’ ‘Homebody,’ ‘Hard Feelings,’ and, of course, their biggest track, ‘Sex, Drugs, Etc.’ The three-piece band has covered all aspects of their sound, from slower and a more ballad style on ‘Miss You,’ to the easily recognizable alt-rock sound we know and love.

The best way we can describe the album is that it sounds like we lived life on 35mm film. So don’t misjudge the upbeat and sunny vibes and assume the contents of this album are all sunshine and rainbows, feelings of being unlovable, staying at home, and anxiety, are all addressed through but in a way that almost feels celebratory when paired with the upbeatness like they’re owning these feelings and celebrating them.
“I wish I could just disappear / cause I been talking to myself / maybe I’m just the silent type“
Prior to this album, the four actually decided to disband after a couple of years of releasing music to come back better and ever last year with ‘Unlovable.’
When you listen to us, I hope you feel like you discovered something new and fresh … All of our songs are different from one another. We want you to play our music on a long drive through the desert or at the beach relaxing at night. This band is a huge part of my life these days. I think the other guys can relate. We’ve all experienced so much in and out of music. Now, we found our comfort zone with Beach Weather, and we’re just kind of loving it.

We’re so incredibly glad Beach Weather came back and delivered with this album because it truly is banger after banger.
Two months ago, the band made their late-night debut on Jimmy Kimmel performing the hit, ‘Sex, Drugs, Etc.’ and we haven’t stopped watching it. Like…we’re genuinely obsessed.
