Dark Corners And Alchemy Is Mehro’s New Album, But Also Our New Obsession!

Melancholy is a feeling, but it’s also a chemical reaction that involves way more than science, the same with alchemy. If someone could put that feeling into the music and make a perfect 12-tack journey into the heart, it is Mehro.

Headlined by his brand-new single ‘princes of melancholia‘ this album includes Mehro’s essence in its totality; we find an artist that treats despair and self-destruction with as much reverence as hope and healing.

Mehro? Our Fav Music Genius.

This album is more than it looks like; not to mention the amazing cover art, the record is split into two sides. The “Dark Corners” side wallows in emotional pain and truly sits in the feeling of it no matter how uncomfortable it may be, with the “Alchemy” side transforming that pain into something beautiful.

At this point, we still can’t figure out how Mehro manages to create those songs that have so many emotions involved, we just love him and the whole project.

The tracks

‘Howling’
‘Like you’re god’
‘Pirate song’
‘Exploding’
‘Who are you’
‘Murmur’
‘Whore’
‘Princes of melancholia’
‘Parasite’
‘Pretty kids’
‘Monster’
‘Love kills’

During the past two years, we have seen Mehro grow as an artist while he released some of the tracks that are part of the new album. On it, we find tracks that went viral such as ‘Wh*re’ or ‘Parasite.’ We witnessed the melodies and the feelings they expressed, and a little later, he gave us his vision through videos like this one.

He is having a short tour in Mexico, stopping at Bar Oriente for a headline show on March 31st followed by a performance at Ceremonia Festival on April 1st. Get your tickets here.
