Attention, indie lovers! We have an incredible act for you to check out! Shambolics have just released their debut EP titled U SERIOUS BOI?!, and every song is a 10/10! Every track has unique features worth noting, and we think you will keep this release on repeat as much as us. Let’s go over our favorite tunes from this EP!
‘Never Gonna Change’
The lead single of U SERIOUS BOI?! means business! ‘Never Gonna Change’ relates to those feelings of leaving our hometowns behind to start a new life. While that can be refreshing, this song talks about how nothing will change if you don’t change your perspective in life. Our favorite part of this track has to be the amazing bridge! The anticipation that’s built with the guitar lines and the isolated vocals is perfect to clap along!
‘Like a Breeze’
We love that this track is the opening song of the EP. It’s such a sweet love song, and we love the lyrics in the pre-chorus and the catchy chorus. We can’t stop singing, “times have changed but I’ll always be the same with you, people change but I’ll always be the same with you” (and the subsequent “lalalas!“). The music video also feels ‘Like a Breeze!’ 😉 We can see the band members having fun with inflatable guitars and the balloons that make up the EP cover art while performing the song. It’s definitely a vibe!
‘Take It or Leave It’
We fell in love with this groovy track on our first listen! ‘Take It or Leave It’ has some sincere lyrics that we want to sing at the top of our lungs while dancing to the fun instrumental. Like Shambolics says, “if you’re gonna do it, you should do it right!” The music video is also so lively, as we can enjoy a vlog of the band traveling while enjoying the stage to the fullest!
