You know that here we love to talk about albums that keep us in the loop, and today 2Z takes the spotlight! As we have buzzed before, this is the year of alternative music, of everything that shows authenticity, and the guys of 2Z are making their way into the scene with a new EP. Shall we give it a check?
‘Like a Movie’
The album’s name and the main track of this masterpiece. A song that shows how 2Z is capable of using the retro trend and adding their own style to make it theirs. This song also has a fantastic video, where we see our boys having fun and rocking the lyrics that sound more like a hymn for young love. (We have lost count of how many times we watched this video, it is so unique!)
‘SUN’
2Z are our sun. That is how we would describe these boys. With this song, 2Z transports us to a movie from the 70s, where they reflect that feeling of wanting to be the center of that person’s life and to be able to, literally, illuminate their life. Additionally, Jung Hyun adds a spicy bass to this song that is just so addictive!
‘Superstar’
More than once, we’ve wondered what it would be like to be a superstar, and today 2Z tells us what it’s like. The feeling of doing things your way and achieving your dream. A perfect song for the road to success. In addition to being a unification between the voices of Ho Jin and Zunon. This is what heaven must sound like.
‘Slow Step’
Although the uncertainty may seem overwhelming, 2Z somehow made it seem like a step-by-step process. A song that allows us to sing in unity to that which worries us, that which we face, and which we can gradually face. And let us tell you that Bum Jun’s drums are so good in this song!
‘How Do We Know’
Zunon’s ability to create such catchy music with the keyboard is undoubtedly the protagonist of this song. Also, the song had a beautiful video with a photo slide, where they reflect on their friendship, the magic of the world, youth, and how much they have grown. Yes, a somewhat nostalgic song that lets us sing in unity with 2Z, ‘always, always…’.
