One thing about us, we’ve never been good at pretending to be calm about something totally worth freaking out over. And yeah sure, could we ‘Just Pretend’ that Bad Omens hitting Certified RIAA Gold Status isn’t insane and beyond deserved. But where’s the fun in that? ‘Just Pretend’ continues to mark its spot in Alt-Rock History, and we are ready to put its name in lights to celebrate!
Whether ‘Just Pretend’ is the first song you’ve heard by Bad Omens or one of their many songs you know word for word, there’s no denying it’s absolute perfection. Its bridge alone makes it a track one you put on repeat so you can re-live the build. We clearly aren’t the only ones who are ready to inject this song right into our veins.
‘Just Pretend’ is accompanied by an equally powerful music video directed by Erik Rojas. You might know some of the previous masterpieces that he’s created for Waterparks or Chase Atlantic! The video was even based on a story written by Bad Omens’ very own vocalist, Noah Sebastian. I think we and the 3.4 million views the videos raked up in its lifetime back our legendary status as well.
