Yes! You heard it right, Nessa Nation. Nessa Barrett is hitting the road again. She recently announced the first phase of her US tour, Church Club For The Lonely Tour. Spanning twenty-three cities, ranging from Austin and Milwaukee to Las Vegas and Seattle and everywhere in between, it’s going to be an unforgettable run!
We know the Church Club for the Lonely Tour will feature songs from hell is a teenage girl, but with the excitement building, we can’t help but fantasize about what non-HIATG tracks we’d love to see make their way on the setlist to give a true Nessa Barrett eras tour feel.
‘if u love me’
This is what we call: an oldie, but a goodie! ‘if u love me’ is full of that raw, gutwrenching emotion that we are desperately ready to scream at the top of our lungs night after night. We feel it’d be the perfect trip down memory lane and an amazing homage to the pre-Pretty Poison era.
‘i wanna die’
Nessa shocked us all when she added ‘i wanna die’ to the setlist for her European festivals. As one of our top three from the Pretty Poison EP, we haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. We’ve all got our fingers crossed that ‘i wanna die’ will stay on the list for the tour so we can experience it live together.
‘counting crimes’
The OG Nessa Barrett bad b*tch anthem! How could we not have this on the list? We can see it now: purple house lights, the music video playing in the background, and a money gun aimed at the crowd. It’d be our dream… let us have our dream!
‘dying on the inside’
We know this is a vulnerable one, for both Nessa and her fans, but that’s why we think it’s perfect. ‘dying on the inside’ was another track that made an impromptu appearance, this time during the European run of the young forever tour, which has many American fans waiting anxiously to see if they’ll get the same sweet surprise!
‘pretty poison’
Nessa has been in our veins like pretty poison since 2020, so it only seems fitting that we get to hear the title track from her debut EP three years later. ‘pretty poison’ is a true Nessa classic that deserves a second chance in the sun!
