Stop everything you’re doing right now! Nina Nesbitt just released two new songs at the same time and they’re both amazing! The singer had already announced the release of ‘Pages’ for today, but what we didn’t know is that she’d also give fans a little extra treat going by the name of ‘On The Run.’
Going back to her indie roots, Nina shows us once again how good of a storyteller she is when it comes to her songwriting. In fact, Nina herself said that writing ‘Pages’ reignited her love of folk music and storytelling and it shows. The song is all about Nina recalling her 20s for all that they were, the good, the bad, and the chaotic. We’ll be the first to say that she is so real for that.
On the other hand, ‘On The Run’ focuses more on the desire to escape from the mundane. And we can assure you that’s exactly what the entire song feels like. It’s like we’re suddenly driving down an empty road with no certain destination as soon as we start listening, which is definitely a feeling we want to experience many more times, so don’t find it strange if half the streams on this song are just from us.
These two new tracks mark the beginning of a new era for miss Nina Nesbitt and we’re so glad to be along for the ride! We can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us in the future.
