The Misdirection Of Fault Lines By Anna Gracia

We’re starting our list of April audiobooks with Anna Gracia’s new YA novel, The Misdirection of Fault Lines! This coming-of-age book follows three Asian American teenagers competing in a tennis tournament: Alice, Violetta, and Leylah. With three different personalities and backgrounds, we get three stories about identity, friendship, and expectations. Each girl eventually starts to figure out how they want to live, and we loved the ending!

Every Time You Hear That Song By Jenna Voris

Like we’ve said, April audiobooks are it! Our next recommendation is Jenna Voris’ sophomore novel, Every Time You Hear That Song. The death of country music star Decklee Cassel leads to a nationwide search of her time capsule. And 17-year-old Darren Purchase does everything she can to find the clues, even if it means road tripping from Arkansas to Tennessee to Missouri. Everything is deeper as it seems in a story told from the present in Darren’s perspective and the past as Decklee rises to stardom.

To Gaze Upon Wicked Gods By Molly X. Chang

Rounding out our list of April audiobooks is Molly X. Chang’s incredible debut novel, To Gaze Upon Wicked Gods! It’s a fantasy following Ruying, a girl blessed by Death and the power to take it from others. She strikes a bargain with an enemy prince to protect her family. And Ruying agrees to be the prince’s assassin while risking betraying her own country. The morally gray characters set up an interesting series opener, and we’re already looking forward to the second book!
