It’s finally here! We have been writing about each of the droplets from Model, making it clear that we were (not so) patiently waiting for the release of this album, and now the wait is over! Wallows has dropped, what we consider to be, their best album yet! Model is a twelve-song portfolio of each member of Wallows’ strongest points. Not a single filler song. We managed to narrow down our three favorite songs to break down with you guys! So, let’s jump in!

‘Your Apartment’
‘Your Apartment’ is one of the songs that was dropped before Model, and has just stuck with us. We had a feeling upon listening for the first time that it was going to be hard to top this track for us, ‘Your Apartment’ is a career highlight from Wallows.
‘She’s An Actress’
Lyrically, ‘She’s An Actress’ was an immediate stand-out on Model. We immediately found ourselves wanting to break down every line and found the verses to be some of our favorite moments out of the entire record.
‘Canada’
We debated back and forth on this last song to share with you guys, but after a few listen-throughs, it had to be ‘Canada.’ As much as we love every previous album Wallows has given us, songs like ‘Canada’ make it clear that Model is in a class of its own.
