Rowan Drake – For all my eyes have seen
If you’re looking for a soft-pop/atmospheric EP, look no further than For all my eyes have seen. We were blown away after our first listen to this project, the emotions behind the words are conveyed so directly due to the backing track, in a way that we haven’t really heard before. Each track feels perfectly cohesive.
Our favorite track off of For all my eyes have see is ‘Albany St.’

Brooke Alexx – ‘Younger Guys’
We have been obsessed with Brooke Alexx since we heard ‘All My Exes’ Moms,’ so if you haven’t jumped on board the train yet, now is the time! ‘Younger Guys’ is this infectious pop track that comes from a place of deeply understanding what a pop song is at its core. We are overdue for an entire record with songs that follow this formula.

Florrie – The Lost Ones
Florrie is the one to watch, and we’ve never been more sure of that than sitting here after listening to this gorgeous debut (!!!!) album, The Lost Ones. Each of the twelve tracks on this album shows a mastering of craft that it is hard to believe is being showcased on an artist’s debut project, but leave it to Florrie to do so! We had to listen a few times over to narrow down our favorite track, but ‘Bad Movie’ keeps rising to the top for us.

Ella Galvin – The Way It Goes
The Way It Goes is a genre-experimentation masterpiece. (We could find jazz and pop influences present, just to name the most front-facing ones) Each of the six tracks on this EP feels like watching Ella Galvin come into her own as an artist in real time. Our favorite song of the bunch is ‘Spare Me.’

LAUREL – PALPITATIONS
Every track we’ve heard from LAUREL has amazed us and drawn us in further, but PALPITATIONS is on a whole other level. We found ourselves needing to take in each track multiple times to process what an incredible piece of work we were witnessing being unfolded in front of us. ‘Coming Back For More’ is the absolute stand-out of this project. One of our favorite songs we’ve heard in a while.
