Get excited, Lilies! Our queen Lisa is BACK and ready to make a statement with her upcoming new single, ‘Rockstar!’
The K-POP icon announced on social media that she’s releasing the single on Friday, June 28th, at 9AM KST. Lisa has also opened up her personal TikTok account, where she has been teasing a snippet of the upcoming single in a sound, getting the world excited for what promises to be an explosive comeback. And it seems that everyone is ready for it – the launch of her TikTok account set a Guinness World Record by gaining 1M followers in 2 hours and 18 minutes. QUEEN THINGS.

The BLACKPINK rapper recently founded her own company, LLOUD, which is an effort to create a platform to showcase her overall vision in music and entertainment that pushes boundaries. LLOUD works with RCA Records to take care of Lisa’s solo projects. Earlier this year, Lisa launched the LLOUD YouTube channel with an exclusive video for her birthday, answering fan questions and even showing Lilies her house.
During the video, Lisa shared that she wants to release an album this year, so could ‘Rockstar’ be the song to kickstart that era? She also shared that this year has been a year where she can focus on herself more, sharing her excitement to be able to do more of what she wants. We even got to find out some of the artists she’d love to collaborate with, so we’re manifesting a collab with Rosalía and Tyla in the near future!
‘Rockstar’ will be Lisa’s first single since her single album, LALISA, dropped back in 2021, consisting of singles ‘LALISA’ and ‘Money.’ It became the first album by a solo K-POP artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify, making it a Guinness World Record. Lisa also won three Asian Pop Music Awards, as well as an MTV EMA and VMA for Best K-POP. The world thrived on her single album and is thirsting for more of her talent!
