When we see the word “featuring” or “collaborations,” you’ve got our attention. Even though we love it when artists make albums completely on their own with no features, a part of us can’t help but fangirl out when two of our faves get together to make magic.
We’ve recently been super in Blxst, a hip-hop artist from Los Angeles. You may already know his popular song ‘Chosen (feat. Ty Dolla $ign)’ or ‘Die Hard’ from Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Luckily for stans and new fans like us, Blxst is dropping a new album on July 19. And guess what! It’s got a bunch of features you’re gonna freak out over.
There’s a total of 20 songs on this new album, titled I’ll Always Come Find You. It is divided into four “acts” each uniquely its own. We’ve also got some unique features and some returning ones for Blxst as well.
“Understanding the position I play being from L.A., I feel like it’s my obligation to bridge that gap and show people from my city different tastes, cultures, music, food and fashion. It’s a big world and I’d be crazy to limit myself to just one thing.” Blxt stated in a press release.

2 Chainz
You know him from songs like ‘It’s A Vibe’ and ‘Champions.’ He’s collaborated with Migos, Big Sean, Chance the Rapper, Future, and more. Now, he’s teaming up with Blxst. You can hear the two musicians sing together on the very first song on the album, ‘Paper Route.’ Our prediction for this track is that it will be super upbeat with an intoxicating tempo that we know 2 Chainz for.
Amanda Reifer
She’s back to collab with Blxst! You know her from her hit song ‘Rich B**** Juice.’ The two artists were featured on Kendrick’s ‘Die Hard’ together so we are so excited that they’ll be back on Blxst’s own track. Amanda Reifer will be heard on the album’s third track from Act 1, ‘Long Way.’ We predict that this song will be a slower love ballad, but who knows, Amanda might surprise us!
Fatman Scoop
We love that Blxst decided to include Fatman Scoop on this album! You know him from songs like ‘Be Faithful’ and ‘Rock the Boat.’ Now, you can hear him on the album’s first song from Act 2 titled ‘Too Many Friday Nights.’ We already know Fatman Scoop knows how to open a song, so we have no worries that Act 2 will be amazing! We expect that this song will be played in clubs across the country. And you can definitely find us on that dancefloor once I’ll Always Come Find You drops.
Offset
The one and the only. Offset was a perfect choice for this new album! We don’t have to introduce him, because you know his songs like ‘Ric Flair Drip’ and his latest album SET IT OFF. If there is one musician and producer who knows how to make an incredible feature, it’s certainly Offset. You can hear him and Blxst collab on Act 2’s third track ‘Risk Taker.’
Joony
Another artist who is new to the hive, Joony, will be joining Blxst on Act 3’s second track, ‘Thousand Hours.’ You may recognize him from songs like Brent Faiyz’s ‘Paper Soldier’ or ‘East.’ Blxst and Joony have actually already collaborated in the past – we are super excited to see him back! This one will definitely be another hard hitter so we already know we will be listening to this one for a thousand hours!
Anderson.Paak
Who doesn’t love Anderson.Paak!? He’s a hitmaker if we’ve ever seen one. He’s made hits like ‘Leave The Door Open’ with Bruno Mars, but we have to admit that the entire An Evening With Silk Sonic album is perfection. We are looking forward to hear how Anderson.Paak will bring his unique sound to Blxst’s music. We know the grooves on this song are gonna hit hard. You can hear him sing with Blxst on Act 3’s third song ‘Dance With The Devil.’
Feid and Becky G
Yes, you read that right. Becky G is back with a vengeance! Act 3’s fifth song ‘Rewind’ features both Feid and Becky G which is simply an iconic duo. You know Feid from songs like ‘LUNA’ and Becky G from her latest album ESQUINAS. We predict that Blxst might sing Spanish on this record. What do you think?
Ty Dolla $ign
He’s back for another feature! Ty Dolla $ign is the king of features, and you know him from ‘Spicy’ with Post Malone and ‘Temptations’ with Kid Cudi. Now the list of iconic features grows with Blxst. The two artists will be on Act 4’s third song ‘I Need Your Love.’ Are you as excited about this one as we are??
Kamasi Washington
Finally, Kamasi Washington is making an appearance on I’ll Always Come Find You’s very last track ‘Ten Summers Or Better.’ Wow, this is definitely a way to end the album! If you don’t know Kamasi, check out his discography and the music he made for the Netflix documentary, Becoming.
