Are We Okay? Not After The New Megan Moroney Album!

Megan Moroney is currently taking over the music world, and we simply had to talk about it with all of you! We have been fans of Megan Moroney since she released, ‘Hair Salon,’ and we haven’t left her side ever since. With each release, it genuinely feels like Megan is chaptering her life in the most honest way possible, and that has never been clearer than on her new album Am I Okay?

After listening through the album multiple times, and hearing a lot of the tracks live during Megan’s set on the Sun Goes Down tour, we have compiled our three favorite tracks to break down with you guys!

‘Mama I Lied’

If you have heard ‘Tennessee Orange,’ you know what a punch to the gut ‘Mama I Lied’ is. This track is basically a follow-up on a relationship that once seemed so promising and worth talking to your parents about and having to admit how much it broke you. and how much you looked past. We have cried every time we’ve listened to this song and realized how much we relate to each and every lyric.

‘Man on the Moon’

When we saw Megan Moroney live, ‘Man on the Moon’ floored us! This track is already incredible on its own, but seeing the crowd sing along and feeling Megan’s energy just made this a top-tier song for us. Making a song about seeing a man’s red flags is always going to hit with us.

‘Indifferent’

‘Indifferent’ is the perfect moving-on song. This is the song you want blaring from your speakers the day you finally realize you’re doing okay and aren’t upset over that person anymore. This is the modern-day ‘Ridin’ Solo’ by Jason Derulo. This is officially our summer anthem.
