Chance The Rapper is feeding OG fans with his new single ‘3,333.’ Just like his OG Acid Rap days, Chance is randomly dropping songs on his socials and if you don’t follow him, you’re missing out. You can only hear ‘3,333’ on Chance’s social media platforms, so go follow him so you don’t miss out on any other sudden drops! Check out the visualizer Chance posted to ‘3,333’ below👇
We love this video because it highlights the fans, which we always appreciate here in the hive. Chance has always shown love to his fans and we thank him for that! Another nod to OG fans is the number 3. Did you know that it’s Chance’s lucky number? He wears custom hats with the special number and you can see it on the cover of Coloring Book.
One thing we absolutely love about Chance is how humble he consistently is. This new track shows just that. To celebrate the release of ‘3,333’ we’re taking a closer look at the lyrics to see what life lessons we can learn from the Chicago rapper.

Don’t Take The Simple Life For Granted
Sometimes simplicity is what we need, and oftentimes is the thing we take for granted. In ‘3,333’ Chance reflects back on the simpler times in life. Playing basketball with his brother, performing for free at birthday parties, a time when no one knew his name yet. At the time these things may have felt like the mundane parts of life, and his growth in the industry not something that he could see for himself. Now that Chance has gained fame, he looks back at the simpler times with nostalgia, which we can all relate to.
Success Doesn’t Come In Numbers
“Cause it’s only 17 people, no surprise. It’s a showcase/some of my friends ain’t show up but every hand in that place gang get thrown up.”
Even if there are only 17 people in a room listening to you sing, you are still successful. 70 thousand or 17, it doesn’t matter to Chance. It also doesn’t matter to us! We’d love to see Chance perform in a small venue with only a handful of other people. May he’ll do a standing-room-only venue tour soon?
Be Thankful For Everything That Life Throws Your Way
Even if the venue isn’t sold out, Chance is still grateful for the opportunity to perform. “Cancelling tickets ain’t fair, but I’ll be there.” Only 3,333 people in the crowd? Who cares? He’s still going to perform. He’s had many many highs, and many lows, as most successful artists do. But, Chance reflects on the hard times and how they made him stronger and into the man he is today.
Chance has been on a roll with dropping new singles, which probably means a full album is coming soon! We recommend checking out Chance’s other new songs from the Star Line project on his Spotify.
