We’ve seen LISA light up the stage at festivals worldwide as part of BLACKPINK, and now we’ve been lucky enough to watch her first-ever solo festival performance! LISA was one of the headliners at NYC’s Global Citizen Festival, which aims to raise awareness on various social causes that impact people worldwide. We’re so proud of her for not only her performance, but for using her platform to shine a light on the amazing work Global Citizen does! Fans in the crowd earned their tickets by taking various actions to support the organization’s work, including signing petitions and contacting their local reps about important issues.
And not only did LISA give us a total rockstar performance, but she also gave us a taste of her next solo single! ‘Moonlit Floor’ is a dreamy new track that spins Sixpence None the Richer’s ‘Kiss Me’ into a Parisian love story we can’t get enough of. The song comes out on October 3rd, so make sure you pre-save it before then for a reminder.
“Kiss me, under the Paris twilight
Kiss me, out on the moonlit floor…”
Another thing we loved about LISA’s Global Citizen performance was her Mugler outfit, designed by creative director Casey Cadwallader, which included a bodysuit with neon accents and leather shorts! We were blown away by how well it captured her fierce energy as she moved around the stage. The fringe on the shorts was also such a clever detail and helped accent her incomparable dance moves.
Okay, we know we’ve probably done enough gushing about LISA! Let’s recap the setlist of her Global Citizen performance:
- ‘LALISA’
- ‘MONEY’
- ‘Moonlit Floor’
- ‘New Woman’
- ‘Rockstar’
