We have to start with the moment that we think many fangirls will take on this year. Sabrina Carpenter really made a dent in the music industry this year with the drop of ‘Espresso’ in the spring. The momentum hasn’t stopped, and the first single off Short n’ Sweet has a music video that is nothing short of iconic. Taking inspiration from the bloody-full ‘Taste’ music video, this is the perfect opportunity for you and your bestie to do a duo costume that will have everyone asking for a picture!
Have a blondie bestie? She’ll need a blue and white gingham matching set and some fake blood to recreate Sabrina’s look after shes been chainsawed by Jenna’s character in the video. After we saw this music video we certainly were not ok. The amount of iconic looks in this video was hard to count, but our favorite had to be the opening shot where we see Tate sporting an “I heart ME” t-shirt. To complete the look and give the full fantasy, you’ll need a pair of sunglasses, jean shorts, high heels, and a fountain drink to sip on. If you wanted to go the extra mile you could do two looks on two different nights, the other being the moment when her alter ego gets arrested. Wear at your own risk!

Ariana gave us everything we didn’t know we needed on her seventh album, eternal sunshine, earlier this year. She also gave us some iconic music videos including ‘the boy is mine’ and ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love).’ We couldn’t decide which one we loved the most, so we hope to inspire you with outfit moments from both videos! If you’re going for a more sexy and sleek look this year, it goes without saying that Ariana’s cat-woman look is a must for you this Halloween! If you’re looking to go cuter, you can do the cute school-girl outfit from the beginning of ‘the boy is mine’ before Ariana transforms into a cat. You’ll need a black and white tennis skirt, some nerdy glasses.
Our second suggestion comes from the devastating ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love)’ music video. The most notable part of Ariana’s outfit is in the makeup! So, if you love doing creative makeup looks, this is for you! For this look you’ll need to recreate Ariana’s flowery eye makeup with a white eyeliner as well as wear your hair in a ponytail while draped in a fluffy winter coat, holding a teddy bear. This is for all the fans who love getting creative during Halloween! The DIY options are endless! For this costume, you’ll need underwear…loads and loads of it. And maybe even a giant tractor. But, that might be getting ahead of ourselves.
