We are eternally jumping for joy because our pop queen, Ariana Grande, announced the drop of her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine. Starting today, March 8 is now the date we are most looking forward to in 2024…and so is the rest of the world. Until then, we are streaming ‘yes, and?’ 💋 every second we can, particularly the a cappella version (ok, vocals!). After four years of vacancy, our ears are finally being blessed again. Thank you, mother 🙏
There are so many reasons to love Miss Grande, but we’ve narrowed ours down to just ten. She brings so much happiness and sunshine to the world of pop music! 🌞
She’s A Musical Theater Nerd
We know a shining triple-threat star when we see one. Ariana grew up on the Broadway stage when she starred in 13, which is evident in her performing capabilities today. She can sing (obviously), take on challenging choreography, and act her way to the top of the charts. Every Ariana stan knows she’s obsessed with musicals, especially Wicked. If you’ve never seen her sing ‘Suddenly Seymour’ from Little Shop of Horrors with James Corden or seen her in the 2016 live version of Hairspray, you’re missing out.
She Has The Best Eras
If there is one thing Ariana can master, it’s creating the best eras of all time. From yours truly to thank u, next, we’ve seen so many iconic looks that still make our jaws drop to this day. If you were a stan during the cat ear era or the ‘Dangerous Woman’ (a cappella) era like us, you deserve federal compensation. If you’ve stuck around for the upcoming Eternal Sunshine era, we’re with you. And we can’t wait to see what’s in store! Arguably, her most iconic era was Sweetener, but we don’t play favorites around here 😉.
She Defines And Re-Defines The Pop Genre
When you think of the term “pop music,” you probably immediately think of Ariana Grande. Even though Ariana is most known for her pop music, she still surprises us with every drop. Underneath the lyrics, the pop sound may be similar but she continues to give the people what they want in new ways that we’ve never seen before. She is one of the few pop-girlies who deliver incredible music videos 📽️, and we are looking forward to more visuals like ‘yes, and?’ We could argue that no one is doing it like her in the pop industry!
She’s A Beauty Guru
If owning the music industry wasn’t enough, Ariana is also slaying the beauty world! With her makeup line 💄, R.E.M Beauty, she’s making all of her fans look beautiful head to toe. Our favorite products from the line are the At The Borderline Eyeliner Marker and the Eclipse Blush & Lip Stick. When this brand was first announced, we knew mother wouldn’t disappoint us!
She Pays Tribute To Those Who Came Before Her
Ariana continuously stays humble and never takes all the credit for her ideas, always paying respect to those who came before her. Most recently, she credited Paula Abdul as an inspiration for the ‘yes, and?’ music video. When we first watched it, we also saw the influence of Janet Jackson and Madonna, whom we adore! Ariana is also always thanking the likes of Kristin Chenoweth, who will pass down the Glinda torch to Ari later this year 🫧
She Has The Best Pets
If you’re an Ariana stan, you know that she has the most iconic celebrity pets of all time. From dogs to pigs, our girl knows how to make a good impression through her pets. Toulouse and Piggy, we ❣️ you!
She Gets Vulnerable In Her Lyrics
Ariana never holds back in her lyrics. Even through the most sensitive and personal events, she is there to tell us all with her heart 💘 wide open. Her music makes us feel heard and seen through the toughest of personal battles. This point can be reflected in songs like ‘ghostin,’ 👻 ‘in my head,’ and ‘off the table.’ Our adoration for Ariana is never off the table!
She Produces Exciting Live Shows
If you have ever been to a live Ariana Grande concert, then you should consider yourself blessed 🙏. We are patiently waiting to hear the next set of tour dates, but until then we will reminisce over her past shows and watch Excuse Me, I Love You on Netflix every night. During her shows, she serves the most iconic visuals and outfits with the best backup dancers strutting down the stage.
I mean, have you forgotten about her performance at the 2020 Grammy’s!? The potential for an Eternal Sunshine World Tour is endless, and we will be refreshing Ticketmaster until then!
She Has The Best Collaborators
Ariana always makes room for other artists to shine vocally in her albums. All of her six albums feature the best singers 🎤like The Weekend, Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign, Megan Thee Stallion, Missy Elliot, Troye Sivan, Big Sean, Lady Gaga, Zedd, and more! Trust us, the list could go on and on. On her upcoming album dropping March 8, we hope to see these names and even more upcoming artists we haven’t heard before!
