Our jaws are on the floor, yet again. Reneé Rapp and Megan Thee Stallion have done it again folks. But who is surprised? We’ve been blessed with the music video for ‘Not My Fault’ for the new Mean Girls movie dropping at the end of this week! It’s giving bad-girl, dressed in pink, energy🩷. But we already know Reneé and Megan give the best bad-girl energy. From swinging baseball bats to “Regina George” tramp stamps, we are simply obsessed!

Yeah, run that back x2. We’ve already deep-dived into the song and the lyrics here, but the music video was everything we wanted plus more and it’s time to dissect what we loved most 👇.
The Choreography
When we heard that a music video would be created for ‘Not My Fault,’ we were really hoping for some sexy fun choreography. Boy, were our expectations exceeded! 🤩 Throughout the entire video, Reneé and Megan ate the dancefloor down with hair flips and synchronized hip sways. Never mind their ability to incorporate the personalities of each of their characters! We love how even though Megan is not in the movie, she was able to give us her own version of Regina George through her lyrics and movement!
The Outfits
Of course, the music video had to be pink, pink, pink! But that’s our favorite color, so we don’t mind 😉. We loved the subtle nods to the original Mean Girls movie, such as Megan’s purple bra cut-out moment and the signing of the Burn Book. Our favorite outfit moment had to be Reneé’s pink fluffy hat. It gives a bit of both Regina’s and Reneé’s personal style, which we are so excited to see come to life on the big screen 🍿.
The Flirt
We couldn’t talk about Reneé Rapp without talking about her flirtatious nature 😙. We simply can’t look away…The music video does her personality complete justice and reminds us why we became fans of her in the first place. However, the spotlight is on both Reneé and Megan which makes us fangirl even more!
