TGINMF (Thank God It’s NEW MUSIC Friday), aka our favorite time of the week here at The Honey POP! Every week sees so many incredible alternative releases, and this time around was no exception! This week’s Hot Alt Alert will be catching you up on all the songs you might have missed! Banger after banger, our favorite artists have been keeping us fed! From longtime THP faves including Magnolia Park and Four Year Strong to new breakout artists such as Winona Fighter and Daisy Grenade, we are loving every new release!
Daisy Grenade – ‘How To Hide A Body’
Pop Punk Princesses Daisy Grenade are back with their latest spooky-esc single, ‘How To Hide a Body,’ just in time for Halloween! The track is a cheeky romp through the dark fantasies of getting revenge on evil exes, served with a side of girlie pop and camp! With a nod to glossy horror, the duo imagines a grizzly end for an undeserving boyfriend—think glitter and gore, all wrapped up in power punk perfection.
Although we can only hope for more Daisy Grenade music in the near future, the band will be appearing at When We Were Young this weekend and heading out on tour with State Champs this fall! Visit here for more information, including tickets and dates!

Winona Fighter – ‘ATTENTION’
It’s no secret that Winona Fighter is one of the best bands making waves in the scene right now. In a world where attention spans are as fleeting as ever, Winona Fighter is here to snatch it right back with their new single “ATTENTION.” It’s not just a catchy riff; it’s a full-throttle call to arms, tackling societal issues like a backstage pass to reality.
Alongside this release came the announcement that they will be dropping their debut album, My Apologies To The Chef, on February 14! You can pre-save it here, and be sure to check back in here as well, as we’ll be buzzing to talk all about it.

World’s First Cinema – ‘Freak Show’
World’s First Cinema is a standout hive favorite! We were thrilled to support them during the release of their debut EP, Palm Reader, and now we’re buzzing with excitement for their new era, kicked off by ‘Freak Show.’ This Halloween-inspired track perfectly blends their signature theatricality with raw, heartfelt reflections on insecurities and the longing to belong. It’s a captivating journey that showcases why World’s First Cinema should earn a slot on every playlist!

Four Year Strong – ‘paranoia’
Okay, hear us out. We know ‘paranoia’ was released earlier this year with Four Year Strong’s most recent album, analysis paralysis, but this week the band dropped a music video for the track, and we just HAVE to talk about it. The claymation-style video is an homage to the making of analysis paralysis, to life with quirky clay versions of the band and familiar faces from their rollout.
ICYMI, Four Year Strong is hitting the road this fall with iconic bands such as Free Throw and One Step Closer. For a full list of dates and to purchase tickets, visit here!

Magnolia Park – ‘Oblivion Eyes’
Last but certainly not least on our list is Magnolia Park’s latest single, ‘Oblivion Eyes.’ As with many of the artists on this list, Magnolia Park is just one of those bands we consider a THP staple, so it was a no-brainer we had to include them in this roundup. The track dives into feelings of love and betrayal and takes us through a captivating yet disorienting experience. ‘Oblivion Eyes’ serves as the perfect crossover between Nu-Metal and EDM and continues to prove that the band cannot be held back by the binds of any genre!
