It’s that time of the week again! We are back with the best of what’s new in music! We have so much to talk about! From the new Halsey album to the new Maren Morris track, it’s truly a stacked week!
The Driver Era – ‘Don’t Walk Away’
It should come as no surprise to anyone who has witnessed us gush about The Driver Era before that we haven’t been able to turn this new track off! We’ve been supporting Rocky & Ross long before The Driver Era, and seeing their growth as artists and their experimentation with genre, particularly in their recent releases, has made us more sure than ever that they are only going to keep finding new fans and gaining popularity.

Maren Morris – ‘People Still Show Up’
If you’re trying to box Maren Morris, that’s going to be in vain! With ‘People Still Show Up,’ Maren has once again shown that genre isn’t something she is weighed down by, with funk and pop meshing beautifully. We would love to see a long-form project explore this sound and see what magic Maren would be able to create.

Ashe & Suki Waterhouse – ‘Pushing Daisies’
This is the duo straight out of our musical dreams! We have been fed so well both from Suki and Ashe over the last two months that we truly didn’t expect this! We have been listening to ‘Pushing Daisies’ on a loop. That chorus is pure gold.

BIZZY – ‘Tastes Like Sh!t’
We are long-time BIZZY fans over here, and ‘Tastes Like Sh!t’ makes it clear why that’s unwavering! BIZZY has always been such an unapologetic artist, making music that truly feels its for her, and if you connect to it too, then that’s great! That kind of raw passion sticks out and makes for a long-lasting career!

Mimi Webb – ‘One Eye Open’
Mimi Webb is a full-blown pop star, and it’s time her flowers were delivered to her on a silver platter. ‘One Eye Open’ plays on Mimi’s signature sound while still sounding like it’s bringing something new to the table. We are (not so) patiently waiting for a full-length project featuring the recent droplets we’ve gotten!

Halsey – ‘Panic Attack’
There simply isn’t a better way to close out this week’s new music article than by celebrating the absolute triumph that is The Great Impersonator by one of our all-time favorites, Halsey! This album is deeply personal and incredibly experimental, showing Halsey’s willingness to play with the idea of “genre.”
With ‘Panic Attack’ specifically, we instantly saw this track as a standout. The channeling of Stevie Nicks, the Vevo Performance—it’s all flawless.
