Meghan Trainor has been the hitmaker for as long as we can remember! Truly, time after time, album after album, Meghan has been releasing mega-pop hits, and the album she released this year, Timeless, perfectly continued that trend! From the Timeless album to the tour to the deluxe album, Meghan Trainor was booked and busy this year! So, of course, we are going to break down each of these accomplishments for you!
Timeless
We could gush about what a textbook-perfect pop record Timeless is for hours on end, truly! Each track feels like a masterclass in crafting a cohesive record that still plays around with tempo and melody. From the title track to ‘Bestie’ (our favorite track), it’s a career highlight for Meghan Trainor.
The Timeless Tour
With an album, usually comes a tour! The Timeless Tour, while being in large venues, feels like Meghan’s most intimate yet. Perhaps that’s due to what a true-to-self record Timeless is, or perhaps that’s due to how close fans feel to her in this era of TikTok where we get to see a side we usually wouldn’t of artists we love. Perhaps it’s a mixture of both. From the opening acts (all stellar) to the setlist, this was one of our favorite tours of the year.
Timeless (Deluxe)
When you have a record like Timeless as you’re starting point, anything you add is just going to be the cherry on top. There really was no way the deluxe version of this record wasn’t going to be the exact piece to complete the puzzle. ‘Criminals’ is our favorite song off of the deluxe record; we can’t believe this was held off the OG version.
