It’s 2025, and we have a whole year ahead of us for new music. We already have plenty of releases coming our way, from The Lumineers to Inhaler. Whatever you’re into, it’s up to us to make sure you don’t miss a single potential new favorite song. So take a look at what’s coming this year and be sure to add them to your calendar!
Open Wide – Inhaler
Only three more weeks until Irish rock band Inhaler’s third album, Open Wide, is released on February 7. And while we wait, we have three new songs to dissect, the most recent of which is ‘A Question of You.’ The digital camera paired with the yellow text in the lyric video feels like an early 2000s documentary as the song deals beautifully with uncertainty.
‘Your House,’ the first release from this album, is a striking introduction with its dramatic opening guitar riff. Not to mention the woman strutting through the shot in the music video. With this song, Inhaler leaves no room for doubt: this is an intense, passionate album that might just change our lives.
And then, of course, we have our album title track, ‘Open Wide.’ If ‘Your House’ made a statement, ‘Open Wide’ solidified it. You do not want to miss this release. Check out these three songs, and then preorder the album here!

Automatic – The Lumineers
We all know who The Lumineers are. And if you’re anything like us, you’re always in the mood for new music from them. Thankfully, we only have to wait a few more weeks. Their new album, Automatic, graces our ears on February 14. So gather your loved ones and tell them you’ll be listening to The Lumineers for Valentine’s Day.
The first track off Automatic, ‘Same Old Song,’ is far from any other song we’ve heard. What is the same, however, is the strength in their vocals and the exciting melodies. With the drums carrying us through, ‘Same Old Song’ is a powerful opener. The title of the second track, ‘Asshole,’ only intrigues us more. Check out the rest of the tracklist and preorder here.

If That Makes Sense – Spacey Jane
For an indie/rock/alternative vibe, you can’t go wrong with Spacey Jane. The first single from this record, ‘All The Noise,’ is an energetic anthem combining dreamy vocals, thrilling guitar riffs, and a therapeutic shout of “It’s all just f*cking noise.”
The music video for ‘All The Noise’ paints a vivid image of the band behind the song. What starts out as a reckless takeover of a small gas station ends with a carefree night on the town. Through a music video that consists mostly of the band playing their instruments, they manage to tell such a complete story. We are holding our breath to see what comes next out of the album If That Makes Sense, out May 9.
