No one can capture our attention faster than Sabrina Carpenter. That’s why every time she posts on Instagram, our hearts leap out of our chests a little bit. But this time, we about fainted. Our caffeinated pop princess took to Instagram to announce the deluxe version of Short n’ Sweet this week. We always knew a deluxe version of our favorite album of 2024 was coming, but we didn’t know it would be this soon!
We took an even closer look at the image she posted and realized she was giving us official song titles…omg! Here’s what we know about Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe) so far and what we are expecting from each of the new tracks. 💋
’15 Minutes’
Now, two of our favorite pop girlies have songs by the same title! Madison Beer x Sabrina Carpenter collab when? Is it too much to hope that ‘15 Minutes’ is actually 15 minutes long? We hope this song will bring back the country-vibes that Sabrina had been teasing throughout Short n’ Sweet, but what we’re really hoping for is some ‘Already Over’ vibes from our fave Sabrina deluxe album, emails i can’t send fwd:.
‘Please Please Please (feat. Dolly Parton)’
We had to do a double take! Seeing Dolly Parton’s name next to Sabrina’s was a dream for us, and we know it was a dream of hers too. We’re so proud of Sabrina! We are so excited to hear Dolly’s take on the GRAMMY-nominated ‘Please Please Please.’ What we’re hoping to hear are some Dolly and Sabrina harmonies and possibly a cowgirl-themed music video to go along with it. What do you think??
‘Couldn’t Make It Any Harder’
You know Sabrina has to throw in a sad song (with a little spice, of course) here and there. Our prediction is that ‘Couldn’t Make It Any Harder’ is going to be that song. We’re ready for some serious heartbreak, amazing vocals, and catchy breakup lyrics on this one!
‘Busy Woman’
Because we’re chronically online, we’ve already heard a snippet of this song. Sorry, not sorry! What we can say is that it’s quickly become our favorite unreleased Sabrina track, and we know you’re gonna love it, too! It’s catchy, has an insanely great melody, and is a Sabrina-coded song through and through.
‘Bad Reviews’
The deluxe album’s final track is ‘Bad Reviews.’ We’re thinking this one could go either way. It could be a complete bop similar to ‘Fast Times,’ or it could break our hearts in two like ‘decode.’ It’s a complete toss-up, but we know we’ll be satisfied either way.
Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe) is officially ours on February 14th! It’s available for pre-order here, along with CDs and LPs and adorable Valentine’s Day merch! We’ve already added those ‘Busy Woman’ playing cards to our carts…😊
