Matt-Felix – ‘Cold With Desire’
Talk about putting the pedal to the metal: we have a certified crowd pleaser to begin with. Of course, from London’s latest artist on the rise, Matt-Felix, and his new single ‘Cold With Desire.’ This bass-driven track showcases his dynamic range to full effect. We love how it blends pulsing electronic elements with raw live instrumentation in a way that feels both fresh and timeless. It’s a bold departure from his earlier work, firmly placing him in that sweet spot between classic and contemporary indie rock. So don’t mind us, we’ll be enjoying ‘Cold With Desire’ along with his debut EP, Kingdom Of You & Me.

PinkPantheress – ‘Illegal’
It would truly be ‘Illegal’ not to talk about our favorite anti-pop queen, PinkPantheress. With ‘Illegal’, she delivers everything we love: trippy visuals, storytelling lyrics, and that unmistakable PinkPantheress sound you just can’t find anywhere else. The music video adopts a psychedelic aesthetic, telling a hypnotic tale of forbidden desire. Alongside Sekou Diaby (who you may recognize from Boarders), the two play out opposite sides of a conversation until Sekou is swept into her surreal, tartan dreamscape, where PinkPantheress becomes both his muse and only escape. It’s weird, it’s wonderful, and we are so here for the ride.

Ananya – ‘Long Jump’
London-based Zimbabwean artist Ananya is back with her latest single ‘Long Jump,’ and in a word, it’s beautiful. The track captures that bittersweet space between childhood and adulthood, something we know many of our readers are feeling right now. Layered with nostalgia, self-reflection, and a quiet ache for simpler times, it’s a dreamlike, cinematic journey through growing pains and personal growth. Sienna Spiro – ‘DREAM POLICE’ – A COLORS SHOW
Sienna Spiro is one of those rare artists who walks the line between intimacy and enigma, crafting sonic worlds that draw from avant-pop, electronica, and cinematic soundscapes. While this isn’t technically a new release, we have to talk about the unveiling of ‘DREAM POLICE’ – A COLORS SHOW. It’s an ethereal blend of haunting rhythm and spectral pop, and Sienna’s performance is absolutely unmissable.
With ‘DREAM POLICE‘, Sienna’s captivating voice takes center stage as she explores the ghostly grip of love. The track plays like a delicate plea not to let go. Trust us, Sienna, we’re not going anywhere. If you’re as mesmerized as we are, we highly recommend checking out her debut EP, SINK NOW, SWIM LATER. Yes, it’s every bit as striking as the title suggests.

Another rising London-based artist you need to have on your radar is Hazel Rose. With the release of ‘Spare Key’, there’s no better time to hop on the Hazel bandwagon. The track reflects on the natural drift that can happen in love, grappling with the difficult, but sometimes necessary, act of letting go. Skinny Lister – Songs From The Yonder
We’re wrapping up our iconic list with some true legends. Skinny Lister are back, and we couldn’t be more excited! The folk-punk faves have just dropped their seventh studio album, Songs From The Yonder, and it’s everything we love about them and more. The lead single, ‘Song From The Yonder,’ is a heartfelt duet about longing, love, and coming home after time apart, set to those signature Celtic-inspired melodies that sway and carry you right along. As frontman Dan Heptinstall puts it, it’s “a proper conversational duet,” and honestly, we couldn’t agree more.
