Seventeen Make Festival History Across Europe

European Carats are about to “아주 Nice” their way around Berlin and the United Kingdom because Seventeen are hitting up Glastonbury and Lollapalooza this year. It’s been a long four years since the cancellation of their Ode To You World Tour in Europe, and 2024 marks their return. Not only is the K-Pop group finally performing in Europe after all this time, but they’re also making history while they’re at it. It’s safe to say our minds are running wild over possible songs that may feature on the festival setlist, and our hearts are full of excitement.

Glastonbury Festival

First up, let’s talk about Glastonbury Festival because if you don’t know, it’s huge here in the UK. And by huge, we mean days of incredible artists both performing and attending. The stages are also televised, and the festival only takes place four out of every five years. Of course, the land needs time to recover after the summer party in Somerset.

This year, Seventeen are set to make history as the first-ever K-Pop act to grace the iconic Pyramid Stage. They’ll be sharing the stage with icons like Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA, and Shania Twain. The word iconic doesn’t even capture the extent of this announcement. Although tickets are already sold out, a resale is set for Spring, so keep your eyes peeled.

Lollapalooza

The great news doesn’t stop there; Seventeen will be headliners (the only K-pop ones, might we add) at Lollapalooza in Berlin this September. If Glastonbury is proving a pain to get tickets to, Lollapalooza is the place to be. As headliners, we know Seventeen’s set will be lengthy and spectacular.

Our Dream Seventeen Set

We couldn’t be prouder of Seventeen taking on these festivals, but now, our minds are racing with thoughts about the possibilities of songs they might play. We’re picturing tracks like ‘Super’ and ‘Hot,’ which will excite the crowd. Classic high-energy songs are a must for festival stages, and mixing them with newer hits from FML and Heaven would make for the perfect set. The perfect ending song has to be ‘Very Nice.’ To everyone else, when this plays, they’ll never know which “아주 Nice” is actually the last. To certified Carats (the adored fandom), we know what to expect.

Obviously, Seventeen have quite the talent for making history. These two albums are already the top two best-selling albums in K-Pop history. Paired with their festival lineups across Europe this year, well, we couldn’t be prouder.
