SEVENTEEN’s SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN Is Out Of This World

Hey Carats, welcome back! We finally have new music. Yes, you read that right; we finally have SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN!

Doesn’t it feel like years since we last talked? Okay, not years, but you know what we mean? It’s been too long! We’ve missed y’all, and you know what else we missed? If you guess new music from SEVENTEEN, you are correct. As we mentioned above, SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN is here, and we can already tell you what we will be listening to for the rest of the year.

SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN

We’re gonna say it…SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN is a masterpiece; it has bop after bop after bop. The eight impressive tracks start with ‘SOS (Prod. Marshmello)’ and end with an iconic instrumental version of ‘God of Music.’ There were some obvious standouts from the album. We personally fell quickly in love with ‘God of Music,’ ‘Monster,‘ ‘SOS (feat. marshmello),’ and ‘Yawn.’ So, if you want to jump into the diamond life, we highly recommend those bops. We also just want to give a shout-out to SEVENTEEN and the people who helped them create the album because it is an overall super fun album.

The whole concept was so cool and pretty: the MV, songs, outfits, and packaging. We honestly can’t wait to receive our copy of SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN so we can have the beauty in our hands and also see who we pull 👀. We also have to mention that the album has earned SVT the most pre-sales in K-POP history, so yeah, no biggie…

But wait, that’s not all, we also want to talk about ‘God of Music’ because it deserves its own hype.

‘God of Music’

‘God of Music’ opens the doors to SEVENTEEN’s festival of happiness, as the guys sing about music bringing people together no matter who you are. The song is funk-soul inspired and reminds us so much of Semicolon, another iconic comeback from SVT, specifically their leading track ‘HOME;RUN.‘ If you know us, it’s our fave, and we love this just the same. A couple of things y’all should know about the MV: first, it was filmed in both the UK and Hungary, so we got a new location for SVT MV’s. Secondly, the mic you saw in the video was in partnership with SL8, Sent Into Space, and SVT, where they literally sent a mic into space, but they did much more than that. You can read all that went into it here; we highly recommend it because we think it’s super cool. They are the first K-POP group to do this.

So, like we said, we loved everything about the MV. It perfectly describes how we are as soon as a SEVENTEEN song comes on, especially the part where everyone is dancing on the bridge, which we have to admit is our favorite part. We loved the choreo as well, and are loving their TikTok collabs with other artists!

Though we are super sad that we don’t get to see all of SVT performing this comeback, we are rooting on S.Coups and Mingyu for a healthy recovery, so remember to just send them a message as you are streaming for this comeback. Speaking of streaming, here’s where you can stream SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.
