SEVENTEEN. That’s it, that’s the article. Not really, but we’re sure CARATs will understand exactly how we feel! SEVENTEEN are once again proving they’re K-Pop titans with their FML mini-album, which is breaking records ‘Left & Right.’ A little refresher for anyone who hasn’t kept up: FML went to #2 on the U.S. Billboard 200, #1 on the Top Album Sales and World Albums charts, and brought SEVENTEEN to #1 on the Artist 100 chart. On top of that, FML has officially set a new record for first-day and first-week K-Pop album sales worldwide – it sold over 3.99 million copies in its first day and 4.55 million copies in its first week!
So yeah, that’s a whole lot of albums. But why so many? Not only because it’s SEVENTEEN, but also because FML has brought us some of their best music to date! Every song on FML really blew us away and showed off each member’s strengths so well. S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino, have truly outdone themselves this time around.
To celebrate FML’s success, we’re gonna walk you through some standout moments on the mini-album!
‘F*ck My Life’
Most iconic SEVENTEEN song title, perhaps? We all collectively jaw-dropped when they announced this one, and we jaw-dropped once again when we heard how amazing it is. It has a throwback R&B vibe to it while also offering pop-rock energy, showing off just how versatile the group is. We hate the idea of SEVENTEEN feeling as hopeless as the lyrics describe, but it feels comforting to know we’re not alone when we experience those lows! This song will help so many CARATs worldwide through hard times.
“I just wanna find myself before I disappear completely…”
‘Super’
SEVENTEEN really blessed us this era because we didn’t only get the title track ‘F*ck My Life’ as a lead single, but also ‘Super!’ This song is all about celebrating your achievements and being proud of how far you’ve gotten, and it’s such an important reminder for everyone to appreciate their growth and progress. Sonically, the song fuses hip-hop and electropop in such a fun way, and we seriously can’t get enough of this song. The energy is infectious!

‘I Don’t Understand But I Luv You’
One of our favorite moments of any SEVENTEEN project is when we get to hear unit songs, and this time, we think the performance unit really stood out! ‘I Don’t Understand But I Luv You’ is absolutely immaculate, from the production to the sweet lyrics. This track is all about how love transcends language, distance, and more, and it really feels like a love song to the CARATs, who have stood by SEVENTEEN through everything. Definitely going down as one of our favorite SEVENTEEN songs.
