Our Favorite SEVENTEEN Japanese Tracks

SEVENTEEN

Hello, Honey Poppers! If you’ve been here long enough, you know we are massive Carats, and with every release, we continue to fall more and more in love with the group. There are a lot of things we love about SEVENTEEN, and one of those things has to be their Japanese tracks. So obviously, when we heard SEVENTEEN was going to be releasing a Japanese best-of album called ALWAYS YOURS, we were more than excited.

Always Yours

In honor of their Japanese debut, the group decided to compile an album filled with Japanese versions of all of our fave SEVENTEEN tracks and two new Japanese tracks, bringing in a whopping 27 tracks in total! It’s set for release on August 11th digitally, and you can have it in your hands on September 29th; you can preorder here

Like SEVENTEEN, we’ve got our own way to celebrate! We’re going to be giving you a couple of our (THP’s) favorite SEVENTEEN Japanese tracks to stream ahead of ALWAYS YOURS. So here we go!

‘Fallin’ Flower’

Okay, y’all, ‘Fallin’ Flower’ is God Tier, and we will continue to say it and will not take arguments. It’s so, so beautiful, and we’ll continue to talk about it till the end of time. The instrumentals at the beginning, representing a flower, move it to number one alone.

‘Not Alone’

‘Not Alone’ will always be that track we continue to go back to when we need to know someone is always there for us. The vocals are lovely, and it definitely gives off “song that plays at the end of a coming of age/slice of life show.” We’ll be patiently waiting for that show’s debut.

‘CALL CALL CALL’

‘CALL CALL CALL’ is one of our faves for many reasons; a big one, though, is because it was SEVENTEEN’s first Japanese title track off of their first Japan mini album, We Make You. So ya know, it holds a special place in our hearts! Plus, it’s super catchy, the guys looked cool, and the choreo is iconic.

’24H’

Closing out our list is ’24H.’ We gotta be honest with you, there was a moment in time when we couldn’t help but keep replaying it. And if you’ve listened to the track before, you should know why! The strong vocals, the clock choreography, Mingyu’s “24 hour, woo”… simply flawless.

Every Japanese track from SEVENTEEN’s discography is unskippable, and is a must-listen for every new and old fan, as well as non-fans! We know we already told you, but make sure you have ALWAYS YOURS pre-saved, we’ll be watching you 👀
