You’re in luck because we once again have some good suggestions. This time, we pulled some new J-pop bops that we think you’d absolutely love and put on your playlists.
PSYCHIC FEVER – ‘Gelato’
With summer right upon us, this felt like the perfect way to start our J-pop roundup. Are your playlists ready for the hot season? Have they been updated yet, because if PSYCHIC FEVER’s ‘Gelato’ is not on them, they’re definitely missing out. The song will feel like a refreshing breeze that will blow away the heat as you get lost in its rhythm. We also believe it fits so well with those romantic summer nights when the cool air is out and everything just feels more magical.

Kento Nakajima – ‘HEKIREKI’
There was no way we’d skip this solo J-pop act! Kento Nakajima dropped his latest EP, MONTAGE, in May, yet captured hearts with its title track of the same name back in April. So, we decided to show you one of the B-sides instead and get you even more hooked on his music. Gifting us with a whole music video for the lead side track, ‘HEKIREKI,’ Kento Nakajima offers yet another new side to his music, something we noticed in each track of the single album. His voice flows perfectly with the dreamy yet rhythmic melody, sweeping us all into his fandom.

YOASOBI – ‘Watch me!’
YOASOBI‘s new single? You bet we’re featuring it here! ‘Watch me!’ is a cute song that conveys feelings of love and the desire to be by that special person’s side throughout the adventure called life. In good or bad moments, or even weird ones, just being together and sharing it all is enough. The song is absolutely fun and adorable and is also used as the theme for the anime Witch Watch.

Ae! group – ‘Chameleon’
Ae! group is a Japanese group whose music we’ve been hooked on, including this new track. ‘Chameleon’ definitely surprised us by taking a turn from the previous, more explosive songs that we’re used to from the guys. But this one is just as good as the rest of their discography. Choosing a more colorful approach, Ae! group’s ‘Chameleon’ is a fun and inspiring musical piece about not being afraid to become your true self.

f5ve – ‘Sugar Free Venom feat. Kesha’
Ok, we know f5ve‘s latest title is an English track, but hear us out. We couldn’t have a J-pop new bangers roundup without including the girls. Especially when they just recently dropped this fire track as part of their debut album, SEQUENCE 01. We think you’ll agree with us. From the very moment ‘Sugar Free Venom’ started, we knew we’d be down bad addicted. Not only are they taking over our playlists, but they are also ready to conquer the world. With the notable feature of Kesha, this is a confident track, perfect for girls’ nights out, and an absolute must for those Hot Girl Summer playlists.
