One of our most highly anticipated albums of 2025 is finally here. Miley Cyrus released Something Beautiful last week and we haven’t been able to stop streaming each of the 13 new songs yet. Miley will forever be one of our favorite artists as we’ve grown up with her, supporting her through every phase of life and career. Something Beautiful really is Miley at her best, finally experimenting with new sounds and themes. On this album, Miley truly proves how versatile she is!
We simply could rant about the genius that is Miley Cyrus all day long, but to keep it short, here are our top 5 favorite tracks from Something Beautiful (in no particular order!)
‘Golden Burning Sun’
When we first heard ‘Golden Burning Sun’ we immediately fell in love. It feels like falling in love and heartbreak all at once and made us feel a range of so many intense emotions. When we listen to this track it makes us think about all our favorite memories with our close friends and those we love most. ‘Golden Burning Sun’ is our ideal sunset-summertime tune and 5 minutes of pure magical bliss!

‘Cause I didn’t notice (So lost when I’m in this moment)

‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved (Feat. Naomi Campbell)’
The 11th track, ‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved (Feat. Naomi Campbell),’ fits so perfectly within the themes and imagery of the album. We didn’t expect to hear this type of song from Miley, but we’re totally here for the dance club ‘Vogue’ vibes! It reminds us of a Lady Gaga track – now that’s a collaboration we need to hear!
“Aren’t I pretty enough for more
Than fun in the dark?
Are you still holding on to your heart?
Looking for the one
But one is never enough
I’m every girl you’ve ever loved”
‘Easy Lover’
It’s so easy to love everything about Something Beautiful. ‘Easy Lover’ is the instant hit from this album for a good reason. Miley’s vocals go absolutely crazy and with a chorus as catchy and perfect as that, who wouldn’t want to stream it all day long?
“You’re a wildfire, and I’m in your path
I’ve decided I wanna keep on dancing in the ashes
And so I call out, “Let it burn”’
‘Reborn’
‘Reborn’ feels like ‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved’’s older sister. The two songs definitely live on the same playlist on the same dancefloor; a dancefloor that we need to be on right now. Thanks to this album, and this track, we plan on being outside for the rest of the summer, hand in hand with our besties feeling ‘Reborn!’
“We’re so powerful
Letting go and nature taking all control
Lightning strikes again
We’re escalating
All I know is
If heaven exists, I’ve been there before
Kill my ego, let’s be reborn.”
‘Prelude’
Is it kind of crazy to say we’re obsessed with the prelude of Something Beautiful!? It opens the album so beautifully and sets us up for all the greatness of the songs to come. Not to mention Miley’s monologue hits us right where it hurts. We can’t be surprised though, it’s what she does best, after all.
“Like witnessing my body standing in a mirror
Aching to be seen, aching to become real
But the beauty one finds alone
Is a prayer that longs to be shared”
