Our first July audiobook recommendation is Lakita Wilson‘s new YA novel, Pretty Girl County! The story follows the perspective two ex-best friends: Sommer Watkins and Reya Samuels. With only a few weeks to go before the end of senior year, Reya needs Sommer’s help creating a digital lookbook for her fashion show. Sommer needs to save up money to attend her dream school of Spelman College. But the girls haven’t talked since Reya moved into a rich and fancy neighborhood and started acting brand new. Can they move past their differences and help each other reach their goals in time?

Love At Full Tilt By Jenny L. Howe
Amusement parks. Scavenger hunts. Plus-size representation. Jenny L. Howe puts together some of our favorite things in her new YA romance, Love at Full Tilt! Set in an imaginary theme park called Fableland, our main characters Lia and Mason compete in the park’s 50th-anniversary scavenger hunt. While both of them need the cash prize more than anything, Lia fully believes in the magic of Fableland. Mason, on the other hand, is a bit more cynical. But neither of them can afford to lose focus when the stakes are this high. Their rivals-to-lovers romance is sweeter than cherry pie, and we couldn’t help rooting for them!

Immortal Consequences By I. V. Marie
The last July audiobook we’d like to recommend is I. V. Marie’s Immortal Consequences! The start of a YA romantasy duology, this story follows along with six main characters who attend Blackwood Academy, a school in Purgatory. They compete in the Decennial, a competition held every ten years where one winner can pass on to the Other Side or join Blackwood’s elite group of victors. There’s angsty romances, countless secrets, and dark mysteries lurking beyond the school. Not to mention the twist ending with newfound identities and frantic alliances. It’s definitely worth the listen!
