Michael Clifford – SIDEQUEST
The moment has come, and we have lost any and all ounce of calm we had left. As career-long fans of Michael’s, seeing him craft his debut solo project and have it be an album that sounds as true to himself as SIDEQUEST does is every fan’s dream come true. Each track feels like exactly who Michael is as an artist, thoughtfully penned, and with a backing track that easily falls into that pop-punk Michael has always naturally fallen into. ‘cool’ has been on repeat since it came out, but our favorite track changes at least hourly.

Em Beihold – ‘Brutus’
Em Beihold is what’s next in the pop music space. There is no doubt in our minds that, in a year’s time, with the quality of music Em is releasing, everyone will be as fixated as we are. ‘Brutus’ marks Em’s first release of 2025; this track is jam-packed with historical references and shows that one of Em’s strongest traits when it comes to songwriting is her wit.

Catie Turner – ‘Not Young, Just Dumb’
We are now and forever the number one Catie Turner fans, so if there is a chance to gush about a new track, trust that we are going to take it. To us, Catie has always been one of our favorite songwriters because of her unfiltered honesty, and that is fully on display here. ‘Not Young, Just Dumb’ focuses on the reality of growing up, of realizing where bad habits lead you, and realizing you were living in a delusion that has been shattered.

‘be a bitch’ is one of those songs that we wish we could have autoplay for everyone in the world. This track is all about finally speaking your mind, about not watering down your thoughts and making yourself smaller in the name of other people. Maren Morris shines a much-needed spotlight on a habit too many of us have and does so while penning a tongue-in-cheek discography highlight.

Our love affair with Olly Murs is back in full swing after listening to ‘Save Me.’ ‘Save Me’ has every staple you are looking for out of a new Olly Murs track, while still showing artistic growth and a clear direction for future music. This track may be coming at us halfway through the summer, but it definitely will be a strong contender for song of the summer.

The 502s – ‘End of the World’
And speaking of songs of the summer, if ‘End of The World’ is any indication, The 502s are about to put out an entire record of them. If you haven’t done yourself the pleasure of diving into The 502s and are fans of bands like The Lumineers, you will not be able to get enough. This band has managed to inject a sun-soaked feeling into every record they release, and it creates a feeling of never wanting to turn their music off.
