As kids, all we ever wanted to be was a Cheetah Girl. We wanted to dance like Dorinda, sing like Galleria, strut like Chanel, and dress like Aqua. To this day, as twenty-year-olds, we still want the same things. Whenever we need a moment of throwback nostalgia, we find ourselves heading to Disney+ with a bowl of popcorn in one hand and a karaoke microphone in another.
Since nostalgia is essentially our middle name, we’re throwing it back to our 8 favorite looks from The Cheetah Girls trilogy that we would 100% wear today in 2025:
Galleria’s ‘Amgias Cheetahs’ Final Look
We’re starting it off with Galleria’s final performance look from the second Cheetah Girls movie. Galleria absolutely ate down with this look from head to toe. From the red oval hat to the winged eyeliner and the glittery lapels, all we have to say is “purrr.”
Marisol’s ‘Why Wait?’ Pink Suit
If we didn’t want to be Galleria, we certainly wanted to be Marisol. She was the perfect addition to the second movie set in Barcelona, Spain. Honestly, all of her outfits throughout the entire movie were amazing, but we’ve always wanted to wear her pink suit from the ‘Why Wait?’ performance. From the torn jeans to the pink tophat, there’s nothing more than screams Y2K!
Aqua’s Baby Blue Cheetah Set
In the first movie, the girls’ fashion was really poppin’ off! One of the most memorable moments was the girls’ coordinating cheetah-print tracksuits. Our favorite? Aqua’s blue (true to her name) set. This has always been one of our dream Halloween costumes – should we do it this year with our friend group?
Chanel’s White Cheetah Fringe Top
Another memorable moment from the first movie was Chanel’s white fringe top during their performance of ‘Cinderella’ (which just might be their best song). To this day, we’re still searching for a top that looks like that. Bring back the Y2K style! This outfit was effortlessly Chanel it everyway. It really highlighted just how well the Disney Channel designers accurately styled each of the characters to match their personalities.
Dorinda’s Pink Workout Set
The Cheetah Girls: One World was Dorinda’s moment to shine! This movie was filled with so many iconic choreography moments led by Dorinda. ‘Dance Me If You Can’ was always one of our favorite dance breaks, and we always wanted Dorinda’s pink workout set with the cheetah paw print on the chest. A subtle yet sweet nod to the OG group!
Aqua’s Blue ‘I’m The One’ Dress
Another iconic Aqua fashion moment from the third movie! When Aqua performs ‘I’m The One’ with the other three girls, she’s wearing a stunning blue-green dress. It was definitely our favorite of all the girls’ dresses! In 2008, this was all we wanted to wear every day (we lowkey still do).
Chanel’s Silk Pajama Set
Chanel is that girl! Her fashion moments were always some of the standouts, including her silk pajama set from the second movie. Any chance she could, she was wearing some sort of cheetah print, even on her pajamas. We loved how her silk set would match with Galleria’s pink one! Besties forever!
Galleria’s ‘It’s Over’ Accessories
There’s no reminiscing about The Cheetah Girls without talking about ‘It’s Over’ from the second movie. Galleria always had her dramatic walk-out moments paired with high Y2K fashion. During ‘It’s Over,’ Galleria steps out from her bedroom’s double doors, head to toe in chunky jewelry and accessories. Her bracelets were up to her elbow, and her necklace was down to her stomach – absolutely purrrfect!
