GOT7 is one of the greatest cases of longevity we’ve ever seen in the K-Pop industry. Since their debut in 2014, these guys have built an impressive discography that blends genres and vocal techniques in the best way possible. However, there are just some songs that just scream “this is GOT7,” and we thought we’d list seven of them here today, both for Agahses that have been here for a long time as well as those who got into them recently.
‘Girls, Girls, Girls’
Starting off strong with their debut song, ‘Girls, Girls, Girls,’ which we just had to mention. From the moment this song came out, we could tell GOT7 was going to be different from everything we’d seen previously. The upbeat instrumental mixed with the members’ stellar performances and fun lyrics got our attention immediately. What can we say, they were right, we do love them!
‘Python’
Jumping eleven years later, we have the title track of their latest comeback, Winter Heptagon, ‘Python.’ The evolution of GOT7 as artists is clear throughout the album, but ‘Python’ as the main single brings us the best of each member. Jackson and Mark’s rap portions are addictive, and Bambam and Yugyeom absolutely kill it during the chorus. These men know they’re icons, and we love to see it!
‘Just Right’
There is no “most iconic GOT7 songs” list without ‘Just Right.’ Be it because of the adorable lyrics that’ll stick to your brain for days or because of the iconic music video (we still remember the doughnut hoodie, Mark), ‘Just Right’ being here just felt right. It is also present in several of our playlists for when we need a little encouragement to feel better about ourselves.
‘Not By The Moon’
A dance song with lyrics inspired by Romeo and Juliet and one of the most stunning music videos we’ve ever seen? Sign us up! And also, can we talk about how beautifully ‘Not By The Moon’ showcases each of the members’ vocals? We’re not exaggerating when we say this song might be one of the reasons why we’re alive.
‘Lullaby’
GOT7 is definitely sweet-talking us with this one, and we’re honestly not mad about it. Using the concept of a lullaby to describe the feeling of falling in love was genius and, quite frankly? We agree that that’s how it should feel, safe and exciting at the same time. On top of that, we just have to mention how this song has four versions in different languages, and we love all of them!
‘A’
One thing we can always count on GOT7 for is to have fun lyrics and beats that make you want to get up and dance, and ‘A’ is no exception to that. ‘A’ is all about handling young love in a light way, with honesty and a touch of teasing that get us hooked and wanting more. A truly unskippable song in every situation.
‘Hard Carry’
Finishing this list with a bang, we have ‘Hard Carry.’ With a title that means “carrying your team to victory” and lyrics that can make us feel like we can do anything, ‘Hard Carry’ is a must-have song for us whenever we need a reminder that even in the hardest situations, we can still keep going. And by the way, if you ever need your spirits lifted, go watch Jackson’s reaction to getting his ‘Hard Carry’ rap right on GOT7’s Killing Voice appearance in 2025, instant serotonin boost in our humble opinion.
And these were only a few of our favorite songs by GOT7. There are many more we could mention, but then we’d be here all day. Maybe we can revisit this in the future, who knows?
