It’s officially Bridgerton Season 4 time! We’ve been waiting far too long for this season to finally air on Netflix. Now that Part 1 is here, we’re locked in with bated breath (and a giant bowl of buttery popcorn) to see who Benedict Bridgerton falls for. What if Benedict and the rest of the Bridgerton family listened to modern-day musicians? Who would be on their playlists and which songs would be their favorites?
Eloise – Avril Lavigne
Eloise Bridgerton obviously needs a little female angst, so we’re pairing her with the queen of female rock and angst, Avril Lavigne. We just know modern-day Avril would love Eloise’s character and vice versa—Eloise would probably be Avril’s number one fan in the year 2026. Is Eloise a ‘Complicated’ girl or a ‘Sk8er Boi’ girl?
Benedict – Marvin Gaye
Benedict Bridgerton keeps it classy. Occasionally. That’s why we think he’d love Marvin Gaye. It is full of lovey-dovey lyrics but also timeless and a bit edgy. Even though Marvin Gaye only made music up until the ’80s, we’re all still rockin’ a little bit of ‘Sexual Healing’ in the year 2026. Benedict has no choice but to participate!
Penelope – Lana Del Rey
Penelope Featherington needs a musician who is good with a pen. Lana Del Rey fits the bill, obviously. She’s more known for her songwriting than she is for her beautiful face card or public appearances. She keeps her talent to the paper, just like Penelope. Would Penelope drink ‘Diet Mountain Dew’ in the year 2026? Probably. She’d also probably love the songs ‘Summertime Sadness’ and ‘Pretty When You Cry.’
Anthony – The Beatles
Anthony Bridgerton just does what’s popular, but with good reason. In the year 2026, he’d listen to The Beatles and be able to sing every word to every song. His favorites are ‘Help!,’ ‘Oh! Darling,’ and ‘I Saw Her Standing There.’ Does he listen to these songs in secret without Kate knowing? Maybe…
Kate – Amy Winehouse
Kate Sharma has amazing taste in music, so it’s a given that her favorite artist would be Amy Winehouse. Nothing gets between her and her ‘F*** Me Pumps,’ not even her husband’s obsession with The Beatles. Kate has no shame and is blasting Amy Winehouse all day, every day, even on her solo horse rides.
Daphne – Taylor Swift
The most obvious answer of all. Daphne Bridgerton would be a Swiftie, 100%. You’d see her front row on The Eras Tour, owning every piece of merch and every vinyl variant. She’d be making custom friendship bracelets for the entire ton and playing all her favorite songs around the house, much to Simon’s delight. This is The Life Of A Showgirl, after all.
Francesca – Laufey
However cunning Francesca Bridgerton may be, she still loves a bit of classical music here and there. In the year 2026, she’d be obsessed with Laufey. Her music just fits right into the Bridgerton family like a silk glove. Eloise is also occasionally listening to Laufey with her sister, but only when Francesca begs her to tune into a new album or song.
Colin – Sam Fender
Colin Bridgerton is hard to read. Sometimes he’s the happiest guy on screen, other times he gets on our last nerve. But we still love him all the same now that he’s finally confessed his feelings for Penelope. In the year 2026, we think Colin would be a mega Sam Fender fan. He’s got that Irish country flair that reminds us of Colin and is still a somewhat smaller artist that Colin would 100% be tapped into.
