Before Hilary Duff officially steps into her global-touring pop-star era, we have to say goodbye to something first: intimacy. Once upon a time, we had Small Rooms, Big Nerves—a four-date mini-tour that served looks, unreleased gems, and Hilary making eye contact with literally every fan in the room—and now we’re (partially) closing the chapter on her limited run at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
With a sweet three-date Valentine’s residency (and another three shows coming in May), Hilary spent her sold-out night two surrounded by lovebirds. In peak Hilary fashion, two fans were pulled onstage to recreate her iconic ‘With Love’ dance…and then topped it with an onstage proposal that could’ve been ripped straight from a rom-com.

And honestly? That’s far from the only rom-com-coded moment in her discography. There are at least three more songs giving us heart-eyes—so let’s rank them, shall we?
3. ‘All About You’
An underrated country-pop serve, baby. ‘All About You’ landed on Hilary’s fifth studio album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., produced by Carl Falk (yes, that Carl Falk—the one who’s worked with One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, and basically all your faves). Lyrically, Hilary switched gears here, giving us something cheeky, flirty, and just intimate enough to make you kick your feet a little. The music video, directed by Declan Whitebloom, is half dance-studio fantasy, half “someone please put this on my FYP immediately.” It’s giving modern TikTok energy…despite the fact it originally dropped in the early 2010s. This one’s for the honeymoon phase—those early days when you’re shamelessly, deliriously obsessed with your person.
2. ‘Anywhere But Here’
When we tap into that early-2000s princess rom-com core, it’s basically impossible not to summon A Cinderella Story energy (we’ll even toss in a couple of genuine “laugh out loud”s if you do). With Hilary as Samantha Montgomery—diner girl turned accidental belle of the ball—and Chad Michael Murray as Austin Ames—football captain turned “finally grows a backbone” leading man—the two spin pure, era-defining magic together. ‘Anywhere But You,’ originally featured on her debut album Metamorphosis in 2003 and later folded into the film’s soundtrack in 2004, is a giant hug in song form. From the very first harmony, it hits that instant nostalgia button. Honestly, it’s still one of our all-time favorites in her discography—the kind of track that makes you feel sixteen, hopeful, and slightly feral for a fairytale ending.
1. ‘What Dreams Are Made Of’
The one Lizzie McGuire Movie anthem that’s probably already elbowed its way into your wedding reception playlist. Naturally, we mean ‘What Dreams Are Made Of.’ Whether you’ve slowed it down into Brent Morgan’s swoony, slow-dance version or kept it in its original starry, sparkly pop glory, it’s the perfect end-credit song for your real-life fairytale—the moment where everything finally clicks, confetti falls, and the universe whispers, “Yeah…this is it.”
Already plotting to propose to your S.O. from the pit of Hilary’s The Lucky Me world tour (which just blew up into extra shows in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, and London)? Power move. We salute it. And with her brand-new album, luck … or something, dropping this Friday, the timing could not be more cosmically aligned for a grand romantic gesture. Tickets drop this week, and while we’re manifesting that sweet, teary “yes,” we’re also rooting hard for you to land the seats you absolutely deserve. And when you do, please send your full bragging rights to our socials—Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. We’ll celebrate with you like it’s opening night. 💍✨
