If the rumors are true, Miley Cyrus is bringing Hannah Montana back to the stage. At the very least, we know that Disney+ is bringing Hannah back to our screens on March 24th. The way we’ve been waiting years for this moment! It’s finally here, and we could not be more excited. That said, it’s time to plan our watch party—Y2K party favors, inflatable guitars, mic stands, and of course, a Hannah lookalike outfit. Need some inspo for your watch party outfit? Look no further! The hive’s got you!

The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary is for the girlies only! Since it’s officially girls’ night out (plus a Hannah Montana marathon), we need a statement t-shirt. For this special occasion, you could go old school and find a vintage Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus shirt on Depop, or you could do what we do best, and DIY it! Grab some glitter felt pens, a blank white t-shirt, and get to designing.
‘Life’s What You Make It’
So, let’s make it rock! This watch party is definitely only as amazing as you make it, so why not go all out!? What’s a Hannah Montana-inspired outfit without a little bit of jewelry? Inspired by the first soundtrack, you could go for some Y2K teal earrings, but make sure there is a lot of sparkle to go around. If it doesn’t shine onstage, then it’s not good enough!
‘Gonna Get This’
Hannah was way ahead of her time making this song. ‘Gonna Get This’ still hits to this day! But then again, don’t all Hannah Montana songs? ‘Gonna Get This’ adds a bit of flair to our “Hannahversary” outfits. We obviously need a purple sparkly skirt to match the classic TV show logo. If purple isn’t your color, go with gold.
‘The Other Side Of Me’
What’s a Hannah Montana-inspired outfit without a wig!? You obviously need a dirty blonde wig for this celebratory outfit. If you’re choosing to opt out of a wig (why?), add some fun Y2K hair clips into your hair, but make sure they’re colorful and full of sparkle. This is a non-negotiable.
‘Rockstar’
Our outfit is almost complete. Now, we need the key to what makes any ‘Rockstar’ stand out. A head mic. Duh! During this anniversary special, there will definitely be moments to get up and dance and sing. No one can sing full-out without a head mic, so make sure you get one for yourself and all the other girlies coming to your watch party. You “might even be a rockstar!”
