So, obviously, the best way to demonstrate that is to deliver their best release to date! KEEHO, THEO, JIUNG, INTAK, SOUL, and JONGSEOB are back and better than ever with UNIQUE, a new release with six tracks that will drive you through the group’s growth and their unforgettable confidence! We’re so stoked to be able to support them in a new, exciting comeback!
Every time P1Harmony releases something, we know we’re going to be speechless, but this release has blown our minds away! UNIQUE is absolute excellence from top to bottom, and it is a perfect description of these superstars: all of these songs explore new genres while also sounding like tracks that only these six talented musicians could release. Every single member is extremely passionate about continuing to grow musically to keep building P1Harmony’s fresh teamwork and eclectic identity. For that, just as with previous albums, the members have worked on the composition and songwriting of these new tunes, as well as playing key roles in the choreographies we will get to enjoy. Their authenticity and dedication to their craft are our favorite things, and we’re so happy to follow their path. The title of the album couldn’t have been more spot on!

‘UNIQUE’
The opening of this comeback is especially daring for K-Pop, as P1Harmony are the first group to release a title track that involves Brazilian Funk inspiration. The members know the responsibility that this entitles. Just as they did when they released a Spanish version of ‘EX,’ the group goes headfirst and adapts it to their unmatched vibe. ‘UNIQUE’ presents how insanely cool P1Harmony is and how they embrace their strong, unstoppable integrity. The flow throughout the entire song stays so strong and energetic that it’s impossible not to be addicted to its beat! Every bit of it makes it a very solid title track that represents the album’s uniqueness (get it?). One of our favorite highlights from the song has to be THEO’s pre-choruses. They set the vibe perfectly to the most important lyric of the whole album, “my crew unique.” Also, the way they have added four different languages to the song is absolutely incredible! Nobody can beat this one-of-a-kind group!
Just as the title of the song describes, the music video is a complete 180 from the vibe of the lead video from P1Harmony’s previous eras. It’s the first time in a very long time that we’re getting a darker concept from them, with black and white as our main protagonists through all the outfits, makeup that resembles their superpowers from their lore, and incredible accessories that portray a somber aura, like collars, eye patches, gauntlets, and big angel/devil wings for the two youngest members. If we combine these elements with the powerful choreography and their acting, we get the perfect visual for this title track! Every single scene, whether individual, parallel, or group shots, is absolutely a 10/10! We couldn’t have thought of a better way to kick off UNIQUE!
‘Pandemonium’
We consider P1Harmony a group with a flawless discography, and the title tracks give us a sneak peek of what the eras sound like. The b-sides are what make them truly shine, though! Although ‘UNIQUE’ is another incredible addition to the catchy title tracks that the group has released, the b-sides are the real queens of this release. Just like the title of the release describes, they’re all unique and diverse in their own way!
For example, the group follows ‘UNIQUE’ perfectly with ‘Pandemonium,’ a song we would play if we had only one night to completely go wild. Pandemonium is a state of complete chaos that comes from extreme excitement, so the rhythm captures exactly that feeling! The group has dabbled more in electronic-like sounds throughout the entire album, but if you’re looking for a full house disco-esque track, this is the one for you! It’s so addictive and snappy that it’s absolutely impossible to resist. We just know that this song was so fun to work on. For example, KEEHO, THEO, and JONGSEOB sound so good throughout their parts and their adlibs! It needs to be added to every club’s playlist!
‘L.O.Y.L.’
Do you know any songs that leave you so speechless that you can only describe them to those who get P1Harmony’s artistry? That’s how we feel with ‘L.O.Y.L.’ Listening to UNIQUE feels like a dream come true, but if you want to continue levitating with a new mix of sounds and exploring what the group is capable of, this track will be your favorite from this release. We cannot describe this song with other than ethereal. There are so many layers and different beat changes throughout the entire tune that make it a major standout in the album, as well as giving us new tones and melodic raps that we’ve never heard in a P1Harmony song. It starts by flowing with amazing vocals, followed by a special beat that repeats the message of sending all distractions away and focusing on the love-of-your-life-like feeling. It’s one of the best b-sides the members have ever given us, truly unreal!
‘Wednesday Girl’
P1Harmony is really good at releasing high-energy songs, but their softer ballad-like tracks will always have a very special place in our hearts, especially if it is as wonderful as ‘Wednesday Girl.’ This sparkly track is all about chasing and waiting for the moment to see your future sweetheart again. Waiting for that day of the week when you get to see them and get instant butterflies at their sight. It’s as if the sweetness and the nostalgia from EX had a little sister! It’s such a charming song that fits all the honey vocals perfectly! We absolutely have to highlight the second verse, where INTAK, JONGSEOB, and SOUL layer themselves so smoothly, combining rap and their voices. And JIUNG’s outro gives us chills! ‘Wednesday Girl’ is such a precious piece to UNIQUE‘s puzzle, and it once again shows us how the group can adapt their vocal range and their lyrics to any style.
‘Triple 7’
Let’s do a double-take after ‘Wednesday Girl!’ We’re here to party with our boys after all, so they’re back to their wild and fun mood with ‘Triple 7.’ This song has to be blasted through our speakers! The number 7 represents luck, completeness, and prosperity, so when we saw that the group added a song with this number as its central piece to their new tracklist, we knew that it was time to let loose and encourage us to live to the absolute fullest. P1Harmony wants to show that if you’re by their side, you’re always winning, and we definitely did with this song! The production and the flow from start to finish are absolute gems, and we get so hyped every time we press play. We need to talk about the incredible wordplays in the raps! INTAK drops the most iconic bars on here with the best flow ever (for example: “Takki baby, where you at?” which was dropped on his Instagram as a cheeky spoiler). Also, SOUL plays such an important part in this song, and as the big SOUL enthusiasts that we are, we are replaying it over and over again! Luck was definitely on our side when we found P1Harmony, their skills, and their music!
‘ICE (VVS)’
They had to close the album with an absolute banger, and that’s exactly what the P1Harmony members did with this track! This song is for the ‘That’s It’ and ‘WASP’ enjoyers, for those who have been craving the vocal line to join on the raps, and for those who absolutely love to go crazy with iconic lyrics. We just got ‘ICE (VVS),’ but just like the rest of the b-sides, we feel like it’s a masterpiece! Like we just mentioned, the entire group raps in this track (!!!!!). Our mouths dropped the moment we pressed play on it for the first time. It’s absolute heat! Plus, if with that fact you still don’t think this group is the greatest ever, you will after taking a look at what they are rapping. The verses are probably the most self-assured lyrics they have ever released, sending a message that P1Harmony is here to dominate together. Just like they say, the “only time I look down is to check the shoes I walked in.” We love it when they know their worth! Say it loud and proud!
We knew ‘ICE (VVS)’ was going to be a hit the moment we heard the beat at the beginning of THE HERO IS MISSING, UNIQUE‘s comeback trailer. We love how the group uses these trailers to give us context for the era’s mood, as well as tying everything together with the lore from previous albums. As our heroes find their way back from striking during DUH!, P1Harmony’s universe has turned darker. The first 10 seconds feature this last track, truly adding to the shock of the group’s future in their heroic responsibilities. We are so glad this preview made it into the release as a full song!
After having UNIQUE on repeat, we can guarantee you that this is P1Harmony’s best comeback! A new era for the greatest stars of the genre has just started! We can’t get over how amazing these tracks are, and we can’t wait to keep supporting the group and praising them for their never-ending hunger for new sounds and fun!
