The Honey POP x AND2BLE Exclusive Interview!
AND2BLE’s Debut
Hey AND2BLE, welcome to The Honey POP! We were so excited for your debut, and you exceeded our every expectation! How have you found the reaction to your debut and Sequence 01: Curiosity?
ZHANG HAO: I was really happy to have the opportunity to try a genre that I wanted to explore for a long time, and I think it was an album that effectively showcased our growth and transformation.
YOO SEUNGEON: Since it was our debut album, we worked really hard to live up to our fans’ expectations. We were surprised by how much interest and support we received, and it was especially rewarding to see people recognize the members’ live performance skills.
RICKY: It meant a lot to us that so many people embraced not just the title track, but every song on the album. Since this was our debut release, that support felt even more special. Moving forward, we hope to give back through even better music and performances.
KIM GYUVIN: We wanted to show a new side of ourselves through this release, so we’re truly grateful that so many people responded positively to it. We hope to continue exploring new styles and taking on a variety of challenges in the future.
HAN YUJIN: We were truly thankful for all the love our debut album received. The support from our fans inspired us to continue growing and to show even better music and performances moving forward.
Congratulations on your amazing first-week sales and multiple music show wins! Of course, you each have established fan bases, but how does it feel to receive so much love as a group from the very start?
ZHANG HAO: We want to thank the fans who have stood by us and waited for us throughout this journey. Moving forward, we hope to repay their support by growing even more and becoming better artists.
YOO SEUNGEON: We’re simply grateful to our fans. Since we’ve received so much attention from the very beginning with our debut album, we want to repay that support with great performances. We’re happy to have made a strong impression right from the start as AND2BLE, and we’re very excited about the story we’ll continue to create together moving forward.
KIM GYUVIN: I’m incredibly thankful for the amount of love and attention we’ve received, which exceeded our expectations. I want to build on this momentum and continue growing into someone our fans can be proud of in the future.
It’s so amazing to see you guys involved in the songwriting process for Sequence 01: Curiosity. Are there any other aspects of your work you’d like to expand into? For example, styling, production, music video direction, or choreography, etc?
ZHANG HAO: I’m interested in taking on new challenges across a wide range of fields. Whether it’s contributing more closely to the creative and production side of an album, acting, or appearing on variety programs, I’d love to broaden my experiences and continue growing in different ways.
YOO SEUNGEON: I have a strong passion for songwriting and composition, and I hope to create music that further expresses AND2BLE’s distinct identity. If lyrics or songs that I’ve written are released in the future, I’d be grateful if everyone would listen and support them.
RICKY: I’ve long had a passion for fashion and visual aesthetics, and I’d like to challenge myself in fields such as styling and creative direction. My goal is to become an artist who can help shape and express every aspect of a project—not just the music, but the overall concept and visual identity as well.
KIM GYUVIN: I’m very interested in songwriting and producing as well, and one of my goals is to have a song that SEUNGEON and I work on together featured on a future album.
HAN YUJIN: I’d like to continue being actively involved in songwriting and composing, and I’m especially interested in areas like choreography creation and performance directing.

We love the MV for ‘Curious,’ the scale is so impressive! If you could pick one other song from Sequence 01: Curiosity to create a music video for, which would it be? What would the MV be like?
RICKY: Personally, I’d love to see a music video made for ‘Bed.’ I think it would be really interesting to bring its dreamy and emotional atmosphere to life through a cinematic, film-like visual.
HAN YUJIN: I’d really like to see a music video made for ‘Sugar Rush.’ It would allow us to showcase a different side of ourselves and highlight a charm that contrasts with the title track.
AND2BLE’s Bond
There are five tracks on Sequence 01: Curiosity and five members of AND2BLE, so if you had to assign a song to each member, who would be each one and why?
ZHANG HAO: ‘Curious’ – ZHANG HAO! Because I’m naturally curious and never afraid of change, which makes me a perfect match for the song. ‘Happy &’ – SEUNGEON! Because he has such bright and positive energy. ‘Bed’ – RICKY! Because he loves sleeping in, so the title suits him perfectly! Haha, just kidding. But seriously, RICKY’s vocal tone sounds especially great on ‘Bed.’ ‘Aura’ – GYUVIN! Because he has a prince-like aura that fits the song perfectly. ‘Sugar Rush’ – YUJIN! Because his smile is so sweet, and I think it matches the song really well.
YOO SEUNGEON: ‘Bed’ – ZHANG HAO. ‘Happy &’ – YOO SEUNGEON. ‘Aura’ – RICKY. ‘Sugar Rush’ – KIM GYUVIN. ‘Curious’ – HAN YUJIN. I matched each song with the member whose image I felt suited it best.
RICKY: HAO is ‘Curious.’ The song matches the energy and leadership he brings to the team. GYUVIN is ‘Happy &.’ His bright and positive charm immediately comes to mind when I think of the song. SEUNGEON is ‘Bed.’ I think he would express the song’s emotional atmosphere really well. YUJIN is ‘Sugar Rush.’ His free-spirited and unique charm suits the track perfectly. As for me, I’d choose ‘Aura.’ It’s sophisticated and stylish vibe feels like the best match for my personality and image.
KIM GYUVIN: My favorite track changes pretty often, but these days I’ve been listening to ‘Sugar Rush’ the most. There’s something about its atmosphere that feels like a great match for me.
HAN YUJIN: Each member has a song that suits them particularly well, but I believe every track on this album showcases the unique charms of all five members.

Fans adore the bond between the members and love seeing it in content like your trip to Yangyang! (Sorry about the accommodation mishap, though…) We know YUJIN wants you all to feel like a family, but how else would you describe your group dynamic?
ZHANG HAO: We’re really grateful that fans enjoy our chemistry so much. Even in our Yangyang travel content, we weren’t trying to act a certain way or create moments on purpose – it was just our natural dynamic when we’re together, and I think that’s why people connected with it.
I see AND2BLE not as a team made up of people who are exactly alike, but as a group of very different individuals who have come together and grown into something like a family. Going forward, we want to continue showing our best selves on stage, while also sharing the kind of genuine chemistry off stage that makes fans think, “Wow, they’re really close.”
RICKY: I’d describe us as a team that’s somewhere between friends and family. We’re comfortable enough to joke around with each other freely, but in important moments, we trust and support one another without hesitation. I think that genuine and effortless bond is what defines our chemistry as a group.
HAN YUJIN: We’re a team that feels like family – we depend on each other a lot and are very comfortable around one another. I think that’s why our most genuine and natural sides come out whenever we’re together.
One of the reasons your bond is so strong is that you’ve known each other so long! Can you tell us what your first impressions of each other were?
ZHANG HAO: When we first met, I remember being struck by how unique each member was. It was a little awkward in the beginning, but through countless hours of practice and time spent together, we gradually got to know each other’s true personalities. Now, we’re extremely comfortable around one another. If I had to point to the biggest change from then to now, it would be the level of understanding and trust we’ve built as a team.
YOO SEUNGEON: It felt incredibly reassuring. There was a period when I stepped back to focus on my studies in Busan, and when I returned, I was amazed by how many attractive and charismatic members had joined. I remember being really surprised by the talent and charm of everyone around me.
RICKY: When we first met, everyone was much more reserved than they are today. As we spent more time together, I got to see many unexpected charms and sides of each member. Now, it feels like we know each other inside and out.
KIM GYUVIN: In the beginning, there were moments when I wondered if I would ever become truly close with all of the members. Looking at us now, though, we’ve become a group that trusts, relies on, and feels comfortable with one another more than anyone else. That growth in our relationship has been really meaningful.
HAN YUJIN: In the beginning, everyone was a bit reserved and still getting to know one another. But through all the time we spent practicing together, we became close surprisingly quickly. Now, it feels like we understand each other on a deeper level than anyone else.

AND2BLE’s Members
ZHANG HAO, you’ve become the leader of AND2BLE. Of course, we all know that this role comes with its ups and downs, but what’s been the most surprising part of leadership for you?
ZHANG HAO: Taking on the role of leader has taught me that leadership involves paying attention to even the smallest details. It’s important to be aware of the members’ condition and the atmosphere within the team. What surprised me the most, though, was how much the members trust and rely on me. Their faith in me has made me feel an even greater sense of responsibility and motivated me to become the best leader I can be.
YOO SEUNGEON, you’re very communicative and chatty with fans, and we love seeing your Bubble notifications pop up! How would you describe your relationship with your fans?
YOO SEUNGEON: To me, fans are like my closest friends and the people I share my emotions with. They’re the first people I think of when I’m happy, and also when I’m facing challenges. I hope that, in return, I can be someone they can think of for comfort, strength, and happiness too.
RICKY, you’ve always had such an amazing, distinct style, and we’re totally in awe of it! What role do you think fashion plays in telling your story as an artist?
RICKY: I believe fashion is a language in its own right. Even with the same piece of music, the mood and message it conveys can change depending on the styling, which is why I see it as an important element in expressing an artist’s identity.

KIM GYUVIN, we love seeing you on Show! Music Core every Saturday! Can you tell us a bit about what your MC-ing role means to you? Are you inspired by seeing so many performances each week?
KIM GYUVIN: Being an MC for Show! Music Core is something I’m truly proud of, and when I reflect on my career so far, it stands out as one of the brightest moments. It’s not only a chance to develop my skills as a host, but also a valuable opportunity to learn more about K-pop by watching and interacting with so many talented artists and their performances.
HAN YUJIN, your voice has evolved and improved so much since fans first got to know you. How would you describe your vocal style now?
HAN YUJIN: When I sing, the most important thing to me is conveying emotion. I study the expressions and vocal tones that best suit each song, and through that process, I’m gradually developing my own unique style and color as an artist.
AND2BLE’s Future
AND2BLE has already achieved so much in such a short time, but what are your goals for the rest of 2026?
ZHANG HAO: Our biggest goal for 2026 is to introduce the name AND2BLE to even more people. Beyond our music activities, we want to showcase our unique color and identity through a variety of content and performances. Most of all, we hope it will be a year filled with opportunities to create even more special memories with our fans.
KIM GYUVIN: This year, we finally had the opportunity to introduce AND2BLE’s music and performances to the world. Thanks to the tremendous support and love from our fans, we were fortunate enough to achieve meaningful success with our debut album, and we’re incredibly grateful for that.
Going forward, we’ll keep striving to become artists – and people – that our fans can be proud of. We also have many more stages, activities, and exciting content planned for the remainder of 2026, so we hope you’ll continue to follow and support our journey!
