Kicking My Feet & Screaming By Ruel
We’ll never say no to a double album. We loved every moment on Ruel’s album, Kicking My Feet, but what we didn’t know was that it was about to get even better. Kicking My Feet & Screaming brings us a second disc with ten new songs, including ‘Hate Myself,’ ‘Don’t Say That,’ ‘Debbie Don’t Cry,’ and more. To say we are loving each new song is an understatement. They are all so brilliant and perfect in their own ways and remind us why we are Ruel fans in the first place. A humble artist who cares about his fans and music that comes straight from the heart without any sugarcoating.
“I knew pretty early on that I was going to have a hard time choosing the final track selection for Kicking My Feet. As the songs stacked up, I started seeing two different, almost polar opposite emotional attitudes being projected. With too many tracks to fit on one record, we split the songs into a two-part album: Part 1 – Kicking My Feet and Part 2 – Kicking My Feet & Screaming. This let me theme each release with a different emotional POV.”

An artist whom we adore and whom we always come back to. Tori Kelly is everyone’s favorite singer and holds so much nostalgic magic for us. Her new album, God Must Really Love Me, gives us that R&B soul that Tori is known for delivering on a high level. There are 14 songs that come together to bring us a new Tori project that is filled with pure emotion. If you thought Tori Kelly’s vocals couldn’t get any better, think again.

‘GIRLS’ By The Kid LAROI Featuring Kehlani
So everyone is equally obsessed with this song as we are, right? Although The Kid LAROI’s ‘GIRLS’ has been released for some time now, it’s seeing a new fanbase with the release of Prime Vieos’ Off Campus. Right when that is happening, LAROI dropped a remix of the song featuring none other than Kehlani. What a brilliant choice we didn’t see coming. The two artists live on the same plane of pure R&B vibes, so this collaboration is just as seamless as you’d think it would be.

DIRTY BLONDE By Bebe Rexha
Did you know that Bebe Rexha is now an independent artist? We’ve gotta show her some love! Her new album, DIRTY BLONDE, is telling us one thing and one thing only – it’s time for summertime in the club! If you want your summer to sound like Tove Lo, Kesha, or even Zara Larsson, then we can’t recommend becoming a Bebe Rexha fan right now. Our favorite song from the new album has to be ‘Çike Çike,’ which makes us feel like we’re on a yacht in Greece, dancing with our girls and some glasses of champagne in hand. What could be better? Nothing.

Any new release from Finn Wolfhard is always on our radar. ‘Tunnels’ is an indie rock song that brings us into Finn’s personal world a little bit more. We learn about his personal growth as an artist and get a peek inside his art on a deeper level than we’ve seen yet. His debut album skyrocketed him into the music scene, but now that he’s made a name for himself outside of acting, we can’t wait to see what he does next. Do we foresee a second solo album coming soon?

‘Skinny Dip’ By Almost Monday
You all know that we are almost monday fans here in the hive. An indie rock boy band always catches our attention, and this band just hits all our check marks. The band just announced a new album, THANK GOD IT’S ALMOST MONDAY, dropping on September 9, so we’ve been going back and listening to their music a lot lately. A recent song of theirs, ‘skinny dip,’ gives us a taste of what we can maybe expect from them on this new album. Everything they’ve been teasing on social media has sounded great, and we’re so excited for what’s to come!

‘Cruise Control’ By Kehlani
Oh, Kehlani, you’ve done it again. If it’s not clear by now, then you should know, never doubt Kehlani because she’s here to play and stay. She just dropped a music video for ‘Cruise Control,’ a fan favorite track on her self-titled album, KEHLANI. This new era is so exciting for us as long-time Kehlani fans!
