If rave culture had chosen its final boss, no doubt it would be FKA Twigs. Her Eusexua album, released last year, softly shifted her performance and music style from edgy experimental R&B and hip hop to an underground electronic sound that speaks directly to those who find their guilty pleasure in Berlin nightclubs. In fact, the Eusexua album was inspired by one of those techno clubs—however, not in Berlin, but in Prague, while filming The Crow back in 2022.

Incorporating Soft Rave Style
FKA Twigs was previously known to the music world as the artist experimenting with hip-hop and art-pop styles. Now after a three-year break, she has released Eusexua, an album reflecting the world of her own tumultuous feelings, love, sexuality, and physicality.
