The eternal sunshine tour has officially started in London, and the first two nights have been nothing short of magical! We’ve seen Ariana Grande take over Chicago, Oakland, New York City, and more cities throughout the U.S. these past few months, but now it’s time for fans in the UK to experience this amazing tour. Although we wish we could just hop on a plane to London, we will settle for watching livestreams every night instead. Here are our favorite moments from the eternal sunshine tour thus far:
A Surprise Visit From Cynthia Erivo
For the fans at the O2 during night two’s performance….we are majorly seething with jealousy right now. Cynthia Erivo joined Ariana onstage for a duet of ‘For Good’ and ‘Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again.’ These performances made history, and we wish more than anything that we were present to see the moment happen in real time. Ariana and Cynthia’s vocals paired together are simply magical. Like many fans, we will never live Wicked down, and we will forever replay this tour moment. Do you think Cynthia will surprise London fans on other nights of the tour?
The Ever Evolving Setlist
Now that petal is out in the world, the eternal sunshine tour‘s setlist is going through some major changes. Before Ariana’s eighth album was released, the setlist consisted of her hits like ‘Break Free’ and ‘Honeymoon Avenue’ and classic eternal sunshine songs like ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love)’ and ‘warm.’ As the tour continues, the setlist is seeing a transformation. Now, fans get to hear brand new songs! Songs from petal like ‘kiss me’ and ‘petal’ have joined the setlist. One of the joys about attending a concert at the O2 in London is that you will meet fans from all over the world! Considering how in-demand Ariana’s tours are, it’s only natural that fans will flock from various countries just to see her perform for one night. Anytime we attend a concert (which is a lot of the time), some of our favorite moments happen when new friends are made and when the fandom comes together to celebrate their love of music. Ariana’s fandom has made all of the shows so special!
