Boy groups are so back! There was a period of time over the past few years when boy groups never saw the light of day. Now, they are practically taking music over. With the monumental return of 5 Seconds of Summer and the introduction of Soulidified, we can confidently say that boy groups are here to stay, and they are only getting better. Enter JYT, an American pop boy band consisting of five members – Caden, Tyler, Recker, Bryan, and Toby. Yes, we’re exploding with heart eyes already. If you’ve never heard of JYT or need a little reintroduction, here are three songs to better get to know the rising group.

‘First Time’
JYT’s latest release, ‘First Time,’ is an absolute hit! If you’ve never listened to JYT before, we highly recommend starting with this banger. Caden, Tyler, Recker, Bryan, and Toby jumped out from under the depths of the music industry with a burning passion and a hunger for success, which is clearly seen here. From the eye-candy choreography to the pop production (that’s unmistakably hard not to dance to), JYT is giving us everything with the release of ‘First Time.’
‘No Pressure’
The characteristic of a good boy group? A dance break in the pouring rain. Duh. The music video for ‘No Pressure’ really shows us the potential of each of the boys and gives us a real taste of their choreography style, plus a little dance break in the rain that we were so desperately wanting. Just with this song alone, we can predict that the boys will be finding mega-fame in their near future. Do you think so, too?
‘What U Want’
The song you may know JYT from the best. Even though ‘What U Want’ was released in 2025, we’re still going to take the time to shout it out because it deserves all the highest of praises! When Caden, Tyler, Recker, Bryan, and Toby debuted, they caught nearly everyone’s attention with this song. It’s fresh, it’s irresistibly catchy, but most importantly, it’s pure pop perfection. Honestly, at this point, what’s there not to love? If we could make our very own boy group from scratch, it would likely look a whole lot like JYT.
