One of our favorite things about SEVENTEEN is how each new unit brings a whole new vibe to the table. And 2026 has been a big year for that, from DxS to V8, and now with the debut of Jeonghan and Joshua’s JxJ unit and their mini album, DREAMSCAPE. A very appropriate name for an album made by these two dreamers if you ask us.
The Tracklist of Dreams
Bringing some dance and R&B vibes into the record, Joshua and Jeonghan have gifted CARATs with seven unique tracks that capture each of their individual styles with their solos as well as what they create when they’re together for the other five songs. Check out the tracklist:
‘Like You’
’12 o’clock’
‘Outside’
‘One plus one’
‘Not personal’ (Joshua Solo)
‘컬러링 (Coloring)’ (Jeonghan Solo)
‘No looking back’
We’re obsessed with how this album was constructed. From the dreamy opener ‘Like You’ all the way to the rawness of ‘No looking back,’ JxJ’s DREAMSCAPE builds a continuous narrative, guiding us into their dreamworld. Furthermore, our ears are blessed with so many different influences, such as the urban house of ‘Outside’ and the R&B/Soul traces present in ‘One plus one.’
We’d also like to shout out the solos of DREAMSCAPE. Joshua’s ‘Not personal’ is more of an alt rock track full of guitars that make you want to dance, showcasing his vocal versatility as well as his writing and composing skills. On the other hand, Jeonghan’s ‘컬러링 (Coloring)’ goes the route of electro-house, featuring his own lyricism and his maturity as an artist.
’12 o’clock’
The title track for DREAMSCAPE is a dance-rock banger that perfectly blends the styles each of them wanted for the JxJ project. If you’re anything like us, then this song probably made you want to get up and dance like you’re in a club straight from the 80s.
And if you thought this was it from JxJ, you thought wrong! Beyond the release of DREAMSCAPE, the duo will also bring their magic to the stage with a tour: JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING], which will begin with three shows in Incheon on October 30–November 1, followed by stops in Saitama, Macau, Taipei, Busan, and Hong Kong. We cannot wait to see what these two will bring us on their live performances!
