We’re Anticipating Release Day With What We Know About The Hunger Games: Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes!

November 17th can’t come fast enough! We have been obsessed with all things The Hunger Games, so when the prequel was announced, there was definitely some screaming and a lot of crying. Every new piece of information we find out about The Hunger Games: Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes has us even more excited! As always, we have to share the excitement with our favorite bees!

Who Are Our Two Stars?

If you’ve read the books or seen any of The Hunger Games trilogy, you know President Snow. Well, love him or hate him, Tom Blythe is bringing us a whole new side of him that we are so excited for! We finally get to be in the room where it happened (yes, that was a Hamilton reference), and we’re ecstatic! Have you ever wondered why President Snow made the choices he made? Well, come November 17th, we’ll finally know!

Now, this face is officially new to the cinematic universe, and we are already beyond excited for her! Rachel Zegler is putting a face to Lucy Gray, who fans suspect might be an ancestor to our Mockingjay, Katniss Everdeen! Related or not, this District 12 tribute has stolen our hearts from the trailers alone, and we’re excited to watch her story unfold on the big screen! Will she become our new personality trait? Most likely.

An Olivia Rodrigo Song For The Record Books!

That’s right, after releasing GUTS, Olivia Rodrigo is not done with 2023 yet! On November 3rd, Miss Rodrigo blessed us with her newest heartbreaking track, ‘Can’t Catch Me Now,’ and we sobbed. Every lyric brought us closer to falling apart on the spot and lying on the office floor in the fetal position. So, you know, standard Olivia Rodrigo song stuff!

If this song tells us anything about this movie, our hearts are about to break. We’re still mourning everything that happened in the first three movies, and you mean to tell us we have to do it again for The Hunger Games: Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes? Such is the life we fangirls live, and there should be some support group about it. (We’ll get right on that.)
