The Important Message In Shinedown’s ‘A Symptom Of Being Human’

The potential that music has is limitless. One thing that songs are able to do is unite diverse crowds together. The meaning of a song can speak to different types of people, and sometimes those songs can have multiple different meanings. Some songs can hold powerful messages, and Shinedown’s ‘A Symptom Of Being Human’ is no different.

Shinedown has made an incredible impact over the years with its music. We still play our favorites regularly, such as ‘Second Chance,’ ‘Sound of Madness,’ and ‘Enemies.’ We also often go back and play their albums from start to finish. Amaryllis still holds a special place in our hearts after all these years, and we will always appreciate the messages within the songs on ATTENTION ATTENTION.

But What About ‘A Symptom Of Being Human?’

‘A Symptom Of Being Human’ is our latest addiction and the most recent release from Shinedown. It’s garnered a lot of attention and is rapidly climbing charts, including breaking through the Top 15 at Hot AC Radio. The pop remix was recently released, and we adore it so much. Have you heard it? We’re awestruck. Everyone needs to hear this song. Not only because it’s become an essential song to listen to every single day but also for the message within, too.

We felt it was necessary to bring this song to your ears because the message in it is one of the most important messages for those living through the sometimes wicked motions of today.

The message is quite simple: we’re only human. Every single one of us. We all have difficulties we have to battle through, and we’re all a work in progress. Some of you may be going through the worst of it at the moment, and we’re sorry that you are. That’s rough. We’ve been there, too, and we hope the message in this song uplifts and provides you strength. On the other hand, some of you may be going through the best moments of your life, and that’s fantastic.

We’re all united in the ups and downs of life. No matter where you are or what you’re going through right now, remembering that you’re not alone in this experience is so important. We’re all on this same rollercoaster that we call life, and we’re experiencing it all at the same time. We’re also all different in our own way. Beautifully unique, wonderfully weird, and all destined to live life the best we can. We are all connected in our humanity in every single way.

We’re Also Connected By Music

We’re sure we can all agree that music is something that can connect us all, too. Shinedown holds the belief that we can all unite with music, and they’re right. ‘A Symptom Of Being Human’ is a powerful song that reminds us that no matter what we are personally going through, we are all human, and we are in this together. Its message is for everyone living and breathing in this world today.

Shinedown has always been a powerhouse when spotlighting key points in their music. The major importance of empathy for one another and mental health awareness are two things that ‘A Symptom Of Being Human’ highlights perfectly. It’s essential that we, as a collective, take care of one another. Everyone is important. Check in with that friend you haven’t spoken to in a while. Let someone on your social media timeline know they are heard when they speak up about what they’re going through. Be there for one another. Hold each other up because the world can be such a harsh whirlwind sometimes.
