Caity Baser is BACK, and we are so hyped! The rising British singer-songwriter is already gearing up for an exciting 2024. She was nominated for the BRITs Rising Star and is preparing for the release of her debut mixtape Still Learning, dropping March 15th, and her upcoming UK tour kickstarting next month.
Now Caity has released her latest single, ‘I’m A Problem,’ a sassy banger that is a clap back to haters with the most confidence. Known for speaking her mind and staying uncensored, Caity may be seen as controversial to some, and this song addresses the internet trolls directly, embracing who she is as a loud, tell-it-like-it-is kinda gal, and honestly, we cannot get enough!
Singing over a bass-heavy beat, Caity gets confrontational: “You say I’m trouble, well I say that I’m fun // You’re all stuck up and clever, and I’d rather be dumb // Oh, God-forbidden woman knows how to get it done.” We can’t get enough!
Speaking about her new single, Caity says: “‘I’m A Problem’ is the epitome of female rage and cuntiness! It’s for all the people that are ‘too loud’ or ‘annoying’ – there is nothing wrong with being confident and living life hard! The people that hate on you are just jealous and they wanna be like you COS YOU’RE A PROBLEM! Feel empowered. Feel happy. Feel cunty. And don’t let anybody get in your way. That’s what I do – life is literally a giggle so do what you want; nobody cares – stay problematic.”
Still Learning will be yours to listen to in a month on March 15th, with 13 songs on the tracklist, including the lead single ‘I Love Making Bad Boys Cry,’ fan favorites ‘Pretty Boys’ and ‘X&Y,’ and of course ‘I’m A Problem.’ We are so hyped!
Not only that, Caity will be kicking off her UK tour on March 2nd, spanning across two months around the UK. Speaking about hitting the road, Caity says: “Being on stage is my absolute favourite place to be, ever. My shows have been crazy – within a year I’ve gone from playing my first show to 150 people, to huge sold out shows ,massive festival main stages, everyone shouting back all the lyrics to me…which is still crazy to think about! But it’s only made me want to go bigger and better for this tour. So expect a totally new show with some surprises and also the usual chaos ofc. CAN’T WAIT TO SEE U ALL THERE!!”
We’re only two months into 2024 and Caity is absolutely bossing it like an utter babe!
