Lindsey Buckingham packed up and set out on his fall tour – his first solo headline tour in three years! We caught the show in New York City and we’re so glad we did.
Lindsey played 20 songs total at The Town Hall. You read that right, 20! It was a mix of his own solo music, Fleetwood Mac classics, and a handful of songs from his upcoming self-titled album.
It was pretty clear how much he missed performing, and how much the crowd missed him right back. He couldn’t stop smiling the entire show and thanking everyone for coming. It felt like we’ve been best friends for years (and if anyone asks, we totally are best friends with Lindsey Buckingham).
We have never seen a crowd so respectful to the artist at a show. There were barely any phones, and it was absolutely silent while he played. As soon as he was done with each song, fans erupted into cheers with a standing ovation. You could feel how special this show was.
Playing Like He Never Left
Lindsey is so incredibly talented. His vocals are next-level, and he’s an incredibly talented guitar player. He played a few songs by himself just with an acoustic guitar in the middle of his set and it was phenomenal.
We got a sneak peek of the new album that was released the very next day, Lindsey Buckingham. You’re gonna wanna give this one a listen, trust us.
If you missed this show, don’t worry. Lindsey Buckingham is taking his fall tour all around the US until December. Grab your tickets here!
